Ballcoth is rolling with his eyes.
Ballcoth: For gods sake... Isn't there any humans left in this world?! We have only been meeting elfs, taurans, orcs, dwarfes... and now a gnome. Endy: Now behave, ball. We don't know him yet, he might be a good man... eh.. gnome.
Siph is pouring some water in the face of shortbread.
Shortbread: oh oh.. water.. where am I? Siph: Take it easy little fella. You are in good hands. Was quite a ride you took there. Endy: Yeah, think you must've hurt you shoulder.
Shortbread is looking at the reflection of himself in the lake.
Shortbread: Oh my god. My hair.. it got all messed up. Where's my comb.
Mustski comes back from the cave with a bag in his hands.
Mustski: Haha, I've known many gnomes in my life, but never one that was that clumsy! That was the greatest fall a gnome has ever made, if you ask me!
Mustski hands over the bag. Shortbread takes it and quickly finds his comb and starts to do his hair.
Shortbread: So, now I'm ready for business. Oh, and my shoulder do actually hurt.
He touches himself on the shoulder. Endy lays a hand on it, says some quick words, and Shortbread's face lights up.
Shortbread: Ooh, nothing like the healing hand of a good priest. Oh, my manners, my manners! I'm Shortbread, master of the elements and arcane magic schools. What can I help you with?
Siph is amusing herself. She really likes the little gnome.
Siph: How neat! Endy: Well, if you ask me, we could use some magic assistance. Ballcoth: What?! Noo! We aren't gonna have a gnome aboard too. I got all the magical power we need! Shortbread: Oh, a master of magics you say. Haha, let's see what we can do about that
Shortbread says a fast formular - Ballcoth transforms into a sheep! Siph starts to laugh, now she is really enjoying herself. The others but Endy starts to laugh too.
Endy: Change him back, please. We are in a hurry now, we have wasted too much time already. I really think we should move. Mustski (still laughing a bit): Aye... haha, I think.. haha... we had enough fun. You still need to fill me in on the details about or little adventure here. So let's move to the cave, and you can tell Shortbread and me all about the danger.
Ballcoth regains his own human form. Really annoyed. Looking at Siph who's still laughing.
Ballcoth: Siph, stop it now! It's absolutely not funny!
He mumbles something and starts to walk towards the cave. Siph controls herself and they all start to walk, while Endy is explaining the whole situation for the newcomers.
They enter the cave, but after a couple of minutes, they can't see anything anymore.
Ballcoth: Auch, don't step on my foot Endy: Ow, sorry. Shortbread: Okay, let's light up this place.
He picks up a stick from the ground, and light the end with it. The flames are lighting up the cave. A big roar comes from the dark.
Shortbread: Erhm.. .Don't think whatevers in here likes us. Siph: Guys, draw your weapons. Something is coming towards us.
The 5 of them are getting ready for combat, when the cave starts to rumble. Something is coming their way...

Ballcoth had some real heavy toughts going trough his mind, but a battle was coming and he felt that he should leave his toughts to some more apropriate moment...
Siph: It's a group of raptors maybe 7, maybe more Shortbread: I can block them
Shortbread casts Frost Nova and all 7 raptors are unable to move.
Mustski: Now quick, nuke them with whatever you got
Firebolts, coluns of white light, and all sorts of arcane magic flying trough the cave, blood spiling all over the floor, every raptor was going down quite fast, but Ballcoth was unable to hit anything since either Siph or Shortbread killed them first, he didn't say anything thinking that maybe they didn't noticed it.
Shortbread: Eya Bally watch the master in action. Ballcoth: ... Siph: HAhaha Mustski: Leave some for me to tank will ya.
The fight was over soon, the raptors were no match for Spih's headshots, and Shortbread's Pyroblasts did awsome damage, combined with Mustki's Tanking and Endy's healing the party was perfect.
Siph: Let's go on.
The cave went pretty well, the party was enjoying the visit, well all but Ballcoth who was the constant target of Siph's and mostly Shortbread jokes. He was about to explode, the pink haired Gnome had no respect whatsoever for his abilities and wisdom.
Ballcoth remembered his youth. His Father had died in battle leaving his mother to raise him; unlike most Human mothers Sidreid was a warrior of the Light and therefore was very disapointed with her son when he choose the path of magic. His youth had been a living Hell, the magi order refused to teach him more due to his untamed use of magic, and the other mages used to Humiliate him for that, he started to spend more time alone. After 5 years of being humiliated, Ballcoth could only think of revenge so he "accidentaly" set the other students on fire, besides being grounded for a month e also got exepelled from the order. One day has he walked through the Streets of Stormwind, a Man called him...
Strange Man: Come Here Ballcoth
Ballcoth slowly approached the Tall Man, a bit scared by his appearence Ballcoth couldn't stand still.
Strange man: That's your name is it not? Ballcoth: Ye..yes, how would you know that Strange Man: I know many things, for example I know you set the whole magi class on fire. Ballcoth: It was an accident ««He rushed to say»» Strange Man: We both know it wasn't, and don't feel sorry about it, my name is Gakin the Darkbinder, and I would like to show you my school. Ballcoth: Are you a mage? Gakin the Darkbinder:««he laughed»» No I'm something different, something that most mages fear.
After being accepted and applauded by the other warlocks(Strangely they enjoyed to hear about the burnt mages ovr and over) Ballcoth went home to tell his mother about his new found path.
Ballcoth: Mother, I have great news I'v... Sidreid: Don't you ever call me that again, you'r the disgrace of this family. Ballcoth: What did I do!!? Sidreid: I've seen you talking to that venom tongued man, I've seen your face when you walked out of that foney Pub, I can feel it you'r a warlock now the lowest scum walking the earth, is that the reward I get for feeding and caring about you all these years. Ballcoth: But mother... maybe it's my deteny, maybe I'm supposed to a Warl... Sidreid:««YELLED»» DON'T YOU EVER COME BACK HERE, EVER, now go, go to your wicked brotherhood, and may the light have mercy upon your soul. Ballcoth: Farewell mother. Sidreid:....
Amongst the other warlocks he found no family, he had some friends but nothing too serious. Gakin the Darkbinder never refused to teach him any spell, and he was no longer blamed for killing a few animals... With time he became the order's most promissing student, and he had finnaly found the reason to live, as he fell in love for Magnolia whom was also a student in the dark arts.
Everything seemed to have changed in his life, but disgrace felt upon him once again. One day while walking around Arathi Highlands with his beloved Magnolia a Troll mage sneaked upon them.
Ballcoth: I've been meaning to ask you something Magnolia, may I cut and keep a piece of your hair?
Magnolia Laughed for a while and made him fell stupid Magnolia: You may have it, But with one condition! Ballcoth: And what would that be? Mangolia: Duel and beat me, then you may have it. Ballcoth: I can already feel it in my hands.
The fight started, Ballcoth knew Mag was tough so he sacrificed his Voidwalker and summoned an Infernal, when he landed he started to charge at Mag, who imediately banished him, leaving Bally completely astonished. When Mag was about to strike a Huge Pyroblast hurled out of the bushes behind her...
Ballcoth: Nooooo, come here you bastard Troll: Oshirikay al kebar* *easy honorable kill*
Ballcoth sent his infernal after the Troll who seemed to be eacaping on his raptor, and rushed to Magnolia
Ballcoth: Mag, Mag can you hear me please say something
Even today Ballcoth waits for her reply, but all he hears is the voice of the other mages Humiliating him.
Ballcoth: I'll kill you He summoned his Dreadsteed and ran after his Infernal, his eyes were flames from hell. After a while his infernal broke loose and he had to stop to kill it.
He never managed to kill that mage until this day, but while buring his loved one body with his own hands he made a promisse.
««I Will live to see the day where all mages burn in Hell, and i'll make sure this Troll has a special spot there»»
««In his mind»» I need no one now, I've achieved everything The order could teach me, yet I need more. I need the power to destroy the Arcane, and I'll get it even if I have to sell my soul, but I'll have it. This tought consumed him to this day.
The team got to a point where the path split in two...
Endy: Team let's move on, Ballcoth do you sense anything? Which way should we go? Ballcoth: I think the orb must be on the... Shortbread: Left, I can feel it's presence, coming from within the left path. Siph: Let's get moving then.
The path was darck but when Ballcoth was about to summon his imp in order to provide light, Shortbread sent a firebolt sraight trough the cave lighting a new room. The room was filled with cristals from bottom to top, they would glow whenever somebody aproach them givin a magical ambience to the room. Shaortbread: ohh boy, this room sure is beautifull, don't touch the walls we might trigger some sort of device. Siph: This room is so wonderfull, it's so peacefull and quiet it Reminds we of Teldrassil, doesn't it Mustki? Mutski: I find it as silence and as magical as the emmerald dream itself.
Endy: There it is, right there on the top near that big blue cristal. Mutski: I'll ge it
As soon as he says this, the cristals lighten all up and a Holographic image of a Nelf druid appears in the middle of the room.
Mustki: Naralex, could it be? Naralex: YOU MORTALS SHALL NOT TAKE THE DEMON ORB. Shortbread: Why? We need it for we are on great quest, that might be crucial to the Victory of the Alliance.
Ballcoth laughs, everyone looks at him but he says nothing.
Naralex: I once tried to use the energies of the Emmerald dream, combined with this cave's natural springs I hoped to give life back to the Barrens.
Siph: What happend great druid? Naralex: I was unaware of this orb, It corrupted my dream turnin my clan into wicked creatures and making this cave a place of horrible vicious creatures. Endy: I was aware of this orb's demonic power but I would never expect it to be it's power. Siph: Guess someone's been lying the whole time.
Everyone turns to Ballcoth, Endy looks at him hoping that he was also mistaken, hoping that he hadn't lied; Ballcoth feels for him, after all he was the only one who trully cared for him...
Shortbread: what would you expect he's a Warlock, one can never trust that kind of a Man. Ballcoth: I didn't lie about everything, it's true that the artifact can banish the Undead for good, but it's also true that the wielder can do whatever he likes with it and I have plans of my own...
Being an extraordinary alchemist, Ballcoth used a gás potion, the room was imediatly filled by black smoke
Ballcoth (DEMONIC) Astaroth gram ma soluzen Siph: «cough» He's succubus is taking the orb grab her Shortbread: Where? I can't see the anything Endy: Ballcoth, no, don't do it, come back
Ballcoth drank a Swifftenss potion an ran the hell out when he got outside, he summoned his dreadsteed and throttled towards the horizon
«« Now to desolace, and to my desteny»»
Meanwhile inside the cave
Siph: I always knew I couldn't trust him
WROOOOARRRRAAAoooooRR
Mustski: Let's get out of here him taking the orb alerted the whole cave. Shortbread: Yeeeakkkessss Run!

The 4 who was left behind by Ballcoth started to run. But all of a sudden Mustski stops.
Mustski (yells): Quick, get outside. There's something I have to do before I can leave. For the love of your gods. RUN!
He shapeshifts into a panther and dissapears off.
Endy, Siph and Shortbread runs. They get to a place where the cave devides into two paths.
Siph: Which way did we come from? Endy: I'm not sure... right? Take the right path Shortbread: Just pick one. I'm still too young and hansom to end as raptor lunch! Not even a late night appetizer!
They runs through the right tunnel, but after a few minutes they end up at a big under ground lake.
Endy: Quick, swim to the other side! Siph: Stop! There's something in the water! Shortbread: Fear not! I still know a trick or two!
Shortbread uses his frost spells, to make a thick layer of ice to create a frozen bridge over the water.
Shortbread: Now! Run!
They run across. Raptors and other creeps are following them. But when our 3 heroes reaches the other side, Shortbread turns around, and with a swift fire bolt he destroys the frozen bridge. Their followers falls down into the water and big water creatures surfaces and quickly end some of the miserable creatures lives.
Endy: Nice trick! Shortbread: Yeah, I would really love to stay and see the feeding, but I rather get out of here! Better now then later!
They continue through the tunnel and finally finds a path that leads out in the open. They are back in the oasis, and the moon is on it's way up.
Siph: Let's head down to the lake and create a camp. We have been through alot today, but think we need at least a few hours sleep. Endy: I really feel like keep going, and to track Ballcoth down, but I must admit that it's been a tiring day. Siph: Anyway, we have to wait for Mustski, may he be alright.
They head down to the lake, and Siph is gathering a pile of wood on the way. She quickly stacks them together to form a cozy little fire place.
Siph: Short, will you do the trick? Shortbread: Anything for you, my lady!
He sets the wood on fire with a swift move. Siph turns towards Salem
Siph: Hey boy. Please watch over all of us while we sleep.
Salem makes a short sound, like he wanted to say yes if he could speak. Even though they all wanted to stay awake for just a bit more, they all quickly falls asleep.
After an hour or so Siph opens her eyes. Someone is watching her. She looks around and finds Endy sitting at the almost burnt out fire.
Endy: I couldn't sleep. Had some weird dreams. Siph: Anyting you want to talk about? Endy: I rather not.
They both sits in silence for a while, until Endy breaks the silence
Endy: I admire your gifts. It really seems like you and Salem understands each other. Siph: Yeah, we've been through alot together. There's some kind of spirit bond between us. Endy: How does it work? If I may ask. Siph: Sure, well, I'm actually not sure. But when I talk to him, I kinda try to place an image in his head of what I want him to do. Endy: Some kind of mind control. Siph: Well, yeah, but just that Salem got a will of his own. But he is a clever cat! And it works the other way around too.
Again the silence surrounds them. They both sits for a while, until Salems submerges from the surroundings.
Siph: Hey boy, what's up?
Salem makes a strange kind of meow sound.
Siph: Endy, I think Mustski is back. And he might be wounded.
Endy looks around?
Endy: Really? Where? Siph: Follow me.
She quickly gets up and runs towards the cave entrance. And like the imaginary picture from Salem said, Mustski was lying just outside the cave, moarning.
Endy quickly lays his healing touch on Mustski and says a silent prayer.
Endy: Oh, just about time we found him. Just a little more time, and I think we would have lost him. But he needs to rest. Siph: Let's carry him back to the camp.
They carry Mustski to the fire, Siph goes back into bushes soon after she comes back with more wood. Siph and Endy falls asleep again.
A few hours later Shortbread comes back to concious.
Shortbread: Ooh... the druid is back, but how awful he looks. Mustski: Oh, well, I'm not in the greatest shape right now, but I got news. Some are good and some are bad I suppose. Better wake the others. We've rested enough for now.
Siph wakes because of the talking.
Siph: Oh, Mustski. Good to see you are well!
Endy opens his eyes too.
Mustski: Yeah, thanks to our great spiritual healer. Thanks alot Endy. Endy (with a tired voice): My pleasure! Siph: Why did you turn back? Mustski: I had to talk to the spirit of Naralex. Endy: Oh, what did he say? Mustski: Well, I had to know if he knew of any other orb fragments. And luckily for us he did. Siph: But what about Ballcoth? Mustski: Yeah, that's the bad news. I think we need to split up. One group has to pursue Ballcoth and another has to go to the great elven forest Ashenvale. There's a place with great evil among humans called Blackfantom Deeps. Endy: I've heard of that. Not a pleasent place to be. Mustski: Well, I reckon that you Siph, should track down Ball. I mean, you are after all trained in the noble art of hunting. Siph: Will be a pleasure! Mustski: You, Endy, should go with Siph. Because Ball isn't evil all the way through. But to put it short. He has been playing with dark magic, and the corrupted orb has poisoned his mind. Endy: Sounds fair enough. Mustski: Shortbread and me will go to the deeps and see if we can retrieve the orb fragment. Shortbread: Sounds like a good portion of fun and danger. Mustski: Aye, we have to be careful though. Endy: Sounds like a good plan. But just one thing bothers me. Mustski: Yeah? Endy: If Ballcoth is affected so greatly by the orb, howcome I'm not. I mean. I've been travelling with that orb for a long time! Longer than Ball ever have seen it. Mustski: Don't be a fool Endy! You have been thought in the path of light. You got a great spirit and will be an tremendous priest, if you not already are! Just continue to have the faith!
After a couple of minutes in silence, Shortbread broke it
Shortbread: Well, it would surely be nice if we had some kind of mounts. It would go alot faster. Mustski: It's already taken care of. Before I passed out in front of the cave, I called for the help from mother nature. And if I'm not mistaken, it is arriving now.
Out of the bushes jumped a big black and white striped tiger.
Shortbread: Oh, an great elven riding tiger. Long time sinces I've seen one of those. BUt... where are the others? There's only one. Mustski: Aye, that one is for Siph and Endy. You'll be sitting on my back
Mustski shapeshifts into a panther and made a gesture to Shortbread to jump up. So he did. Siph jumped onto the big riding tiger and Endy jumped up behind her.
Mustski: We'll meet in Darkshore... and Siph... Please bring back Ballcoth alive!

His ride was tireless and so was he, possesing the orb purged every bit of Humanity he had left giving place to a cold and pityless being. He now wandered the world with one purpose only, to revenge his beloved Magnolia in an attemp to cleanse the suffering and humiliation the arcane had caused to him.
He reached Sun Rock retreat at nightfall, knowing that the orcs wouldn’t welcome him he traveld a bit North were he found a lake. Although his mind was tireless, he was still human with bodily needs. After dismounting he summoned Nalmir (his Imp), to help him set up a campfire and to watch after him while he slept.
Ballcoth: Gather some wood and make a campfire.
Nalmir did as he was told, but as usual he didn’t do it silently.
Nalmir: What kind of a Master I have that’s not even able to set up a campfire by himself. Ballcoth: Will you be quiet I’m trying to get some sleep. Nalmir: What kind of a relationship is this? Am I supposed to obey your every order? Ballcoth: You exist only to assist me when I require your aid! Nalmir: Let us just suppose I don’t what then?
*BANISH*
Ballcoth: Ahh, finally some silence.
After a few minutes Banish faded, and it seemed it hadn’t demoted Nalmir from his aim of reaching his master.
Nalmir: I’m an intelligent being you know? Ballcoth: Ohh really, I wonder why I hadn’t figured that out by now! Nalmir: One day I might not assist you, that day you may die. Ballcoth: You are walking a dangerous path Nalmir, I suggest you shut up and do as you’r told. Nalmir: All this threatening, all this hatred where is the need for that? I know life hasn’t been easy on you, but if you talked with me maybe we co... Ballcoth: Nalmir I’m your master I summoned you to this world I don’t want us to be friens I want you to obey me, as plain and simple as that, are we clear? Nalmir: ... Ballcoth: ARE WE CLEAR? Nalmir: Yes master! Ballcoth: Good, now I’ll have some sleep while you stay on guard.
It hadn’t always been like this, Nalmir was once Ballcoth’s best friend (He’s only friend actually) but Magnolia’s Death left a deep scar on his Heart leaving room for no other emotion or feeling.
Back in the Barrens Siph started to feel something for Ballcoth, but she knew better, she knew what kind of a man she was dealing with. A man that get’s so obsessed by power is not to be trusted so she didn’t take Mustki’s words too seriously (“Please bring back Ballcoth alive!).
Siph followed the path to the Stonetalon Mountains and from there she went North. Although Ballcoth had a big head start, traking him was an easy task for a Hunter as skilled as she was.
Siph: The trail ends here, he must be hiding nearby, Salem can you smell him?
Salem started sniffing the ground and led Siph towards a nearby lake.
Endy: Your skill is as impressive as your eyes.
*Siph blushes*
Nalmir: Mater, Master wake up we got company! Ballcoth: What? Who? Nalmir: It’s that Hunter Siph, she’s on the other side of the lake with a Dwarf, they’r coming this way! Ballcoth: Dam that Elf! I’m too exhausted too stand a chance against them, stay here, remember that if you die I can always summon you back. Nalmir: Right.....! Ballcoth: Don’t you dare disappoint me!
Ballcoth dived inside the lake and waited.
Siph: Ahh, there you are were’s your master? Nalmir: I don’t know! Endy: What do you mean, you don’t know? He’s your master, why would he left you? Nalmir: He doesn’t like me very much! Siph: You’r lying, I know it Endy knows it, and that big cat with long sharp theeth knows it too so you better tell me where that coward is or else.
Ballcoth’s soul was linked to his minion, so he told him to run towards the Mountains, and so he did.
Siph: Salem follow him
As they got upper and deeply into the mountains, Ballcoth quietly left the lake, and walked towards The Charred Vale. After a while walking Ballcoth summoned his Dreadstead and roam East into Desolace
Ballcoth: East, Always into the East!
Meanwhile in the Mountains near the lake
Endy: Something is wrong, this Imp’s luring us. Ballcoth must be far away by now.
*Nalmir dissapeared*
Siph: Dam that Warlock, this is the second time he tricked me, there won’t be a third Endy: We got to admit the lad as skill. Siph: I won’t comment that.
They ran down the mountain path and got near the lake. Ballcoth had been more carefull this time leaving almost no evindece of his presence, but Salem’s nose eventually detected his trail, and the Hunt began, Once again.
After riding for a while Ballcoth reached Desolace, once there he went straight to Sargeron. This place wasn’t new to him he had once saved the life of Drakkur, the Satyr leader who happend to be a warlock. He was so thankfull that offered Ballcoth a Home amongst the Satyrs. Since the Satyrs are natural enemys of the Night Elves Ballcoth couldn’t have chosen a better ally o ask for aid.
*Demonic* Drakkur: Greetings Ballcoth, It’s been a while since you left! What brings you amognst us? Ballcoth: Greetings brother, I don’t have time chat, I’ve come here to request your aid! Drakkur: Anything you ask brother. Ballcoth: Surely nothing you, and your brethren can’t handle. There’s an Elf pursueing me, and I can’t kill her since I have more important affairs to deal with at this moment. Drakkur: *Spits* Elves! We’ll take care of her. Ballcoth: There’s a Dwarf too, I don’t want him to be hurt! Drakkur: We’ll see what we can do... Ballcoth: There’s one more thing, I need four Dreamfoils, you don’t happend to have them do you? Drakkur: Surely our Herbalist has them I’ll go ask her.
When Drakkur came he brought back a bag filled with Dreamfoils.
Drakkur: Anything more? Ballcoth: No, nothing more I will never forget the kindness of the Satyrs. Drakkur: Neither we’ll forget our dept to you, brother.
Ballcoth added four Dreamfoils four Golden Sanams and a Heart of the Wild to the imbued vial and created a Major Rejuvenation Potion from which he immediately recovered his strength and spirit. He mounted once again, and followed the path to Manoroc Coven where next fragment of the artifact would lay.
Meanwhile somewhere in Ashenvale Forest
Mutski: Never tought Gnomes were so heavy! Shortbread: We have a light body, but heavy brains. Mutski: I’m sure you do, little fella Shortbread: Why do I sense Irony in your voice?
Mutski didn’t had time to reply since a group of mounted orcs came out of the bushes
Mutski: I’m sure we can talk this over, right?
The orc guard who seemed to be the highest ranked officer, said something in orcish * Grank, Lokbar kill them*
Mutski: What did he say? Shortbread: Dunno, I don’t speak “Hordish”! Mutski: It’s “Orcish” Shortbread: Whatever, but it seems the left Orc’s grabing his axe.
Mutski started running East with the Orc guads on his tale. Shortbread kept casting firebolts and other arcane magics in order to slow them down but an Orc in berserker stance is unstopable. Mutski knew this but he also knew they were even more stupid while in that stance, so he lead them straight to Astranaar. The path was long and running at that speed with a Gnome on his back only made it more difficult, until finnaly.
Shortbread: HELP *He yelled* Night Elf Guard: For Cenarious my sisters!
The Orcs found they were evenly matched by the Elven Guards, still they did not retreat. Shortbread had his Inner power ((Mana pool)) fully recovered in a matter of minutes, and started to blast the Orcs away with the power of fire and frost.
Shortbread: Ha, ha run now you mechanical squirrels Mutski: I’m tired, let’s stay here for a while Shortbread we can’t possibly stop now, remember that we are supposed to meet with Siph in Darkshore! Mutsuki: Okay, Okay off we go
And so they left to Blackfathom Deeps

Siph's mind was filled with anger. Why, oh, why did she fall for that trick with the imp. It was so obvious. But her eagerness after catching Ballcoth was so big, she totally misunderstood the situation.
Endy: Siph, anything wrong? You look so thoughtful. Siph: Oh, well, nothing at all. Let's just get on moving.
Endy felt that Siph was a bit angry, but didn't comment it. He just hoped he would be able to calm her enough down to not kill Ballcoth when they got him. They both mounted their elven riding tiger, and headed east towards the lands of Desolace.
Meanwhile Mustski and Shortbread reached the stairs down to the deeps. They quick ran down the long stairs and came to the flooded part.
Shortbread: Oh my, do we have to swin under there to get inside? Mustski: According the elves in Astranar there should be a cave underneath. Shortbread: But my hair will get wet and it will be all messed up for hours. Mustski: Well, nothing we can do about that just now!
After he finished the sentence he pushed the gnome down into the water and jumped after him. Shortbread, clearly not happy about the situation, screamed a high pitched "eeeeehhhh" when he hit the water. But when he realized he couldn't do anything beside following he Mustski, he dived under the water and followed him to the cave entrance.
They entered a beautiful cave with alot of crystals on the walls that lighted up the whole place. Shortbread was clearly impressed with the cave, and forgot all about his wet hair.
Mustski: Seems like we don't need your fire spells to light up these caves. Shortbread: Well, the last time I lighted up a cave, everything ended up messy, so think we'll be okay this time. Mustski: Haha, never say that, because you'll never know what lures in the dark. But you're right in the fact that your fire wont attract any creeps this time.
They went further inside the cave, when all of a sudden a big bunch of nagas came out of nowhere. Shortbread took one down with a well placed fire ball. Mustski was quickly transformed into a raging cat that took down two or three, while Shortbread just had time to look at him.
Shortbread (yelling): Slow down, I save some, so I'll look good when we'll tell this story!
But he didn't have to worry, because the Nagas just kept coming. Short and Must took down alot but they started to get out numbered. They were fighting on their last energy, when all of a sudden a human female came out of nowhere and started slaughtering everything that was still breathing. Mustski quickly joined her, and together they took down the last wave with nagas, while Shortbread supported them with all kinds of spells. After the fight was over, Mustski took a quick look at their mysterious guest. She was standing there with her two daggers, all covered in blood, looking at them.
Mustski: Thanks for the help, my lady. What are you doing down here, if I may ask. Woman: Why I'm down here doesn't concern you, but I saw you guys were in trouble, and I'm never leaving a good fight! Rather take down two too many than leave the fight with no treasure! Mustski: May I ask who you are then? Woman: The name is Dementhia, feared by many, wanted by more! Mustski: Ah, the name is ringing a bell now! I've seen the wanted posters around! Dementhia (smiles kinda evil): Yeah, people tend to misunderstand me! Mustski: Well, we are on a dangerous quest, and could need a helping hand. A woman that can swing a weapon like that, clearly can be useful. Pardon me for being so straight forward, but you are pretty good with those weapons. Dementhia: Yeah, I know! I only trained with the best, and, well, many of them are dead now. Because I got better than them! Shortbread (whispering to Mustski): Ehrm. Can I say something? I don't think she'll suit in our group! I don't like a bounty hunter like her! Mustski (whispering to Shortbread): I know, but if my senses aren't fooling me, she will be a great ally. So let's keep her happy! Mustski: Dementhia, you can keep whatever treasure we'll find down here. We only demand one item, and I think it will be very dificult to get. But with your help, I think we'll manage! Dementhia: If it involves killing and treasure I'm always game! But what item are you seeking. Mustski: I can't tell you, I'm afraid, but when we find it, you'll know what we are seeking. Dementhia: Hhhmm... sounds like we have a deal, druid!
And so the group of two became the group of three! They went further into the cave, where big struggle would wait for them!
Back in Desolace Siph and Endy just passed the border.
Siph: I always hated this place. I always senses so much danger here. Think it's because of the many portals that are around. Endy: Yeah, I don't feel good about it too!
Salem was 50 yards in front of them, looking back, to see if they still followed him. He felt the danger before Siph but he was too far away to help.
Out of nowhere alot of satyrs appeared and attacked our two heroes. Siph quickly realized they were outnumbered, but she refused to go down without a fight. She swang her sword and decapitated the nearest Satyr. Endy was about to cast a protective shield around Siph when he sensed something behind him, but it was too late.
Siph (yelling): Endy!! BEHIND YOU!!
He felt a pain in the back of his head before the world went black!
Seeing her friend going down made Siph much more angry, and she took down five more Satyrs before she was overpowered. She felt a sting on her arm. She begang to see double before the world went black!
Far away in the deeps of Blackfantom Mustski felt this. He wasn't delighted, but he didn't tell anything to Shortbread. Their mission couldn't be brought in danger now!
Hours went by, and finally did Endy wake up. He looked around. He was in a small room with very little light. The floor and the walls was made out of stones. There was iron bars in one of the walls. He was in a prison. Outside the prison three satyrs was guarding the place. A fourth appeared. He seemed to be of higher rank than the others. He had Endys bags. He searched them but found nothing useful, but a little rune with inscriptions.
Endy watched the officer closely. His mind kept going. How can I get out of here. What happend to Siph? When he saw the officer took up the runes he jumped up. He totally had forgot about them, because of all the action that happend lately. He wondered if he could ignite them. He wasn't a mage, but if he could focus all his will on the rune, maybe he could set them off. The officer still investigated them, wondered what a priest would do with a fire rune. The inscription was kinda different from the ones he knew about though. Endy tried to focus all his will in these runes, but simply couldn't get them to ignite.
Endy (sighs to himself): There was a reason why I became a priest and not a mage!
But all of a sudden a phrase jumped into his mind. He couldn't understand it, because it was in demonic, but without thinking he said it out loud!
Endy: Mresh grazs xzas aslinas
The fire rune ignited and made a big explosion that killed the guards and the officer on the place, and blasted the bars open. Endy had reacted very quick and had made a protective shield around himself. The quickly ran through the fire and followed a long dungeon, until he reached some stairs and came out in the open. He was inside a big Satyr stronghold. He saw a big watch tower.
Endy: If only I could...
He didn't finish the sentence before he started to run towards the tower. The guards, who were attracted by the big explosion, saw him and started to charge him. Endy recharged his protective shield, and kept running towards the tower. Three guards was standing in his way now. He ran towards them, and charged all his psysic energies, and used a spell he onced promised himself he would never use again. But he had to use it know if he wanted to escape in live! He screamed out loud and thereby released all the psysic energies he could, and made the guards see horrible things in their mind. The psysic scream worked, and the three guards fled from him. Endy was so exausted now, because of the big energy burst, but he had to continue. He ran to the top of the watch tower, where another guards was standing, but Endy quickly pushed him out from the tower. Endy jumped after him, but used the rest of his energies to levitate over the wall. He landed safely on the other side, and started to run his ass off!
He had to get as far as way as possible, before the satyrs realized what just happend among the chaos Endy had created. When he was far enough away to feel secure, he fell down on the ground. He was so excausted by now, that he felt he could sleep for years. But he didn't have time for that now. He had to move again! He had to find Siph. And he had to find Ballcoth. So much to do yet. But where to start? And how was he able to ignite the rune all of a sudden? So many questions to answer. He was so tired and so confused. But all of a sudden a voice appeared in his head.
Ballcoth: I helped you out this time. But turn around, because I wont help you again! Go now, while you can!
All of a sudden Endy understood. It was Ballcoth who had placed that demonic sentence in his head. It was him who triggered the rune! Well, one question down. But what now. Where were Siph?
Far away from the Satyr stronghold a group of five satyrs where standing around a big fire place. They used this place when they had a big offering. In the center, on top of all the wood they'd gathered, a female night elf was placed, tied up to a pole. The Satyrs was in good mood, and almost done with the ritual. They just needed to set the wood on fire.
Siph woke up, and quickly realized the situation. There was no way out. She started to pray to her gods!

The team progressed quicly throught the cave, they fought bravely against the Nagas, Murlocks and eventual Hidras they found, but they seemed unable to find the orb. Everyone was starting to despair, everyone but Dementhia, she seemed tireless and completely amused by the bloodbath she had caused.
Mustski: We can’t keep on like this, at this rate we’ll be exhausted by, by...
*Minutes, hours, perhaps days he could no longer tell, the cave seemed endless*
Dementhia: Well I’m not near exhaustion or anything like it. The loot sure is good and these guys are easy to kill. Shortbread: Speak for yourself you’r not holding them, if Mustski needs to rest for a while we’ll rest. Mustski: No! No I’m fine we need to keep on going. Dementhia: See, he’s a Strong lad.
But Mustski wasn’t okay, he was far from it actually. He was tired, tired of feeling all the rage and Feral power that he was required to. The only thing that made him going was the feeling that Siph was in danger. He couldn’t wait to get out of there and seek his old friend.
Shortbread: You’r the leader, you make the calls. But if you ask me you’r not looking that well. Mustski: Don’t worry, as I said I’m fine, let’s take this path I beleive we haven’t gone that way yet.
The path was lead them downwards and as they progressed the abscense of light became even more noticeable. Still, that didn’t frighten the team, as they kept on going like they new exactly were the path ended.
Shortbread: Its down here I can feel it. Mustski: Indeed
Dementhia started to wonder if she had made a good deal, this orb should be worth more than anything she had looted (And it was quite a loot). She chose not to ask any questions about it the time were she would decide wether to keep it or not was still to come.
The path led them to a room, fortunately it was lightened by some sort of torches hanging from the walls. There was a upper platform in the middle of the room.
Shortbread: It must be over there, we should proceed carefully.
Dementhia was already on it when Short finished his sentence.
Shortbread: Ohh, what the hell let’s go Mustski
When they reached the upper platform they activated some kind of device that made a Big Hidra appear, she hadn’t been warned before cause Dementhia was stealthed but as soon has she saw the small gnome, she lift up her tale and swang the gnome against the closest wall.
Shortbread: Yeekeess *While flying away*
Mustski shifted into a Bear and draw away the Hidra’s attention from Shortbread. Although tired while on his natural form, he didn’t show any signs of it in Bear form, he kept striking with mindless rage the huge three headed beast. Dementhia used her sword to cut of one head of the big monster and the other two turned straight at her in anger. She was completely covered with blood, and she enjoyed it so much that it only made her go even more insane. Strike after strike dodge after dodge, she was unstopable. Meanwhile Shortbread woke up, and found his way back into the platform.
Shortbread: I’ll show you what I’m made of!
The gnome Charged his entire energies into one Colosal fireball and screamed * Get out of the way* The Boulder of fire flew through the air like a hawk on the hunt!
*Wooooosshhhh*
At last the Hidra fell onto the ground, leaving a big tooth on the floor. Shortbread rushed to pick it up, and started wondering.
Mustski: I guess when you’r angry you’r really angry, are you hurt? Shortbread: That Three headed monkey messed my hair up again! Dementhia: Kill, Slaughter, massacre…MORE Shortbread: What’s wrong with her?
Mustski, lead Dementhia too a small water pool nearby and helped her wash away the blood.
Dementhia: MORE *Her eyes showed that her mind wasn’t here* Mustski: Snap out of it * he slaped her...softly* Shortbread: She’s delusional Dementhia: What? Is it over yet? Mustski: Yes, and you did very well. Shortbread: Hey guys this tooth seems to be a key, and I can almost imagine were it fits.
The Gnome ran to the back of the platform were a big Red stone lied. He placed the tooth against the engravings on the stone and it colapsed. Amongst many gold coins there it was the orb.
Dementhia: Ohh good, more loot to me
She was about to pick up the orb when Mustski hold her hand
Mustki: That’s the one thing we require Shortbread: That’s why we came here Dementhia: Okay, okay If you want it take it, I’ll be happy with the rest.
The party found a shortcut and in half an Hour they were outside.
Mustki: Ahh fresh air, again. Dementhia: We’r you headed now? Shortbread: We need to go to Darksh..
Mustski kicked him
Dementhia. Darkshore? Auhh, too bad I’m wanted there, guess I hope to team with you some other time. Mustski: Goodbye then Shortbread: Bye Dementhia.
And the team went on separate ways. But after a while curiosity stroke Dementhias mind and she decided to follow them at distance.

Siph prayed to her gods. She always did that when she had to concentrate. It worked as some kind of meditation on her. She was in a big forest. She could hear the water from the nearby lake. She open her eyes and looked up. In front of her stood an male nightelf and was looking at her.
Dunadain: Come on, Siph! You can do it! Siph: I'm not a rogue, nor an gnomeish escape artist! I'm a fighter! Dunadain: But you can't fight with your hands on your back! Siph: Sheesh! You aren't a big help. Dunadain: If you can untie your hands I'll give you a kiss! Siph: Trying to motivate me? Doesn't work! Dunadain: Well, the alternative is that I'll just leave you here and go home. Siph: Okay, I take the first option! Dunadain (smiling): Just like I thought!
Siph tried desperately to untie her hands. It was an lesson in school, and she wasn't very good at it. Young and naive as she was she didn't ever think she would have to use this trick ever. Like she would ever get captured! But her teacher had told her, if she wanted to be a great hunter, she had to learn to get out of the most impossible situation.
Dunadain: come on, try to close your eyes. Focus on the rope. Feel it. Feel the knots! You know what to do.
She closed her eyes. Used her hands to feel the knots, and created an image of the knots in her head. She concentrated so hard that she didn't notice she shadowmelted.
Siph: There, if only I could turn this around.
She used her fingers to put the end of the rope through the knot. And finally she was untied.
Siph: There we go! I hate this lesson. Oh, and you owe me a kiss. Dunadain: I can see the untied rope, but where are you?
She realized now that she was shadowmelted and decided to fool around with Dunadain. She slowly went around him. But he turned around with a swift motion and grabbed her.
Dunadain: Dear dear girly! You still has alot to learn.
He kissed her gently.
Siph: Yeah? Well, one day I will become more powerful than you! And then I'll defeat you in a duel with ease!
She smiled at him, and he kissed her again.
Dunadain: When you concentrate you can do anything. You just have to put your mind to it! Siph: I still don't understand why my teacher want me to learn this. I'm a hunter. And no hunter with respect for himself will ever get caught! Dunadain: You haven't seen the world out there then. But your teacher will be proud when he heard that you're getting better at untieing knots. Siph: Yeah, I suppose so. Dunadain: Come, there's something I want to show you.
They both jumped on their riding tigers and Siph followed Dunadain through the forest. After a short ride they arrived at Darnassus. They rode through the city until they came to the portal to the outside of the island. They went through it and came to the pier. They both unmounted and went down the bridge. They sat down at the end of it.
Dunadain: Can you see that island over there, far away.
Siph noded.
Dunadain: It's Kalimdor. Next week I'm going over there. I'm going to Ashenvale forest to help them get rid of the orcs. Those filthy orcs, who are ruining our forest. Siph: I will miss you, Duna. Dunadain: And I will surely miss you, girly.
They kissed again, and after a couple of minutes with silence, Dunadain broke it
Dunadain: Next year, when you are done with your training I will come back to watch you graduate. Have you found out which pet you will get? Siph: Not yet, but I'm sure when I see him I'll know which one to choose! The gods will guide me! Dunadain: You have a strong faith in the gods. Let's hope they still are watching over us, and help us against the enemy. Siph: I know they will.
They sat at the mole for an hour and talked before they went home. Life was just so good at this very moment.
A year went by. Siph and Dunadain was seperated for that whole year, and finally the day came when Siph was done with her training. She hadn't heard anything from Dunadain in months now. She was worried abit, because he usually wrote her as often as he was allowed. But when he didn't show up for her graduation, she was sick of worry. She knew something had happend to him. But she had to be strong. She went to her teacher with her pet.
Milikai: Hello Siph. Congratulations with your pet and good to see you've made it so far. You are a great hunter now, but if you continue your search for knowledge you'll be an even greater hunter than me. Siph: Oh, you are just fooling with me. I'll never be as good as you. Milikai: I have trust in you. I've seen your progress, and you are by far the most experienced hunter in the whole class. Siph: Thanks alot, Mili. Milikai: But something is on your mind. I can see that you're thinking about something. Siph: Yeah, I know I should stay here in the safe boundies and train more, before I go into the big world. But I'm just so worried about Dunadain. He hasn't written me for a long time now. Milikai: So you want to go search for Dunadain? Siph: Yeah, I miss him greatly. Milikai: Well, the best place to learn and use your skills is in the big world out there, and I think you are ready to do so. Siph: You really think? Milikai: Yeah, take the next boat to Darkshore, and head south through the forest. In the end you will get to Ashenvale. We got a strong outpost there. Go find Dunadain. If anyone can do it, it's you. Even though I think there's an reasonable explaination for his missing letters. Siph: Thanks alot, oh great father!
So Siph took off to find her Dunadain. A week later she arrived at Astranaar, but Dunadain wasn't there. She was told he was sent on a mission to Thousand Needles but hadn't returned. She travelled through Barrens to Thousand Needles and searched for him, but never found him. After months of searching she went to Theramore where she got her first missions in the name of the alliance. But she never found out what happend to Dunadain.
Siph closed her eyes and tried to feel the knots. Tried to imagine how she was tied. She started to pray to her gods. She shadowmelted. Beneath her the Satyrs fired up the wood. She could smell the burnt wood, and she felt the heat getting closer. The Satyrs continue their ritual offering. Siph was sweating. She didn't fell well either. Something was wrong with her. It was getting really hot around her. She was tied up good, and she had always hated this excercise. But she only had one chance now. Her fingers worked around the knots. The fire was getting closer. She didn't dare to open her eyes. She tried to push the rope through the knot. It succeeded. She opened her eyes, jumped down from the big fire in the same time as it reached the place she was standing. She hit the first Satyr backwards, while she grabbed his staff out of his hands. She bashed it into his head, and he went down. Another Satyr ran towards her, but she easily knocked him out. The three others stood for a moment and didn't know what to do, and then they ran off. When they were gone, Siph fell to her knees. She looked at her wound on her arm, she got from the fight before she was captured. It didn't look good. It looked like the wound was infected with some kind of poison. Now she understood why she felt so bad. She looked around to try to figure out where she was. Not that far from Nijel's Point. Maybe she could reach it before the poison really started to work, and she better had to get out of there before the Satyrs came back in larger numbers. She started to walk north towards the mountains where Nijel's Point was located. The closer she got to Nijel's point the more dizzy she became. The poison was starting to get to her. She walked four more steps before she fell.
She was lying on the ground. She didn't move. At all.

«« Why? Why did I help him?»»
He couldn’t stop thinking about it, the dwarf had been nice and friendly to him like only one person had ever been. Eventually he managed to drive away these toughts and keep on his mission.
The area was filled with demons and their masters. He progressed slowly, killing demon after demon and slaying the eventual warloc that crossed his path. From the cold feeling he got on his spine he realised that the orb wasn’t far away. He reached a half destroyed Building with 3 Satyrs and a Lesser Infernal Guarding it, at the end of the room he could get a glimpse of the orb. These Satyrs besides being tough didn’t owe anything to him, so he chose a more subtil aproach.
He picked up a stone from his backpack, and summoned an Infernal right onto the middle of the Satyrs, he quicly Banished the Lesser infenal and sent His minion to attack the satyrs. His pet killed one Satyr quicly and the other one died of Ballcoth curses, The Lesser infernal eventually broke free and Ballcoth’s pet charged at him. The fight didn’t last long, but he wasn’t indestructible, so he quicly picked up the orb and got out of there.
Endy couldn’t bear thinking about Siph, he felt her dead, slain by those pitiless creatues. His body and mind cried with pain, but his will made him kept going on. He didn’t know where to look for Ballcoth, but he knew Desolace and he also knew that there was a place there were demons walked side by side with mortals.
Endy: If there’s a fragment of the artefact on this God Forsaken place that’s were it should be.
Endy: May the light Give me strenght!
He gathered all his energies and started running south, the pain was unberable for any Azerothian to bear, but Endy had Godlike will in a mortal body so he avoided thinking about the paind and kept on going.
As he walked the path towards Manoroc Coven, he saw a troll. Knowing that he didn’t posses the strenght to beat him, he hided... It took a while for the Troll to start moving, but eventually he did and unfortunately for Endy he took the same way towards Manoroc.
Endy: Dam, that troll...this will slow me down.
She felt her face scratch against the floor, someone or something was dragging her. Her body was wrecked by the poison and her mind was delusional...
In her mind she saw Dunadain, he was tracking someone in a forest, it had a strong resemblence with Feralas but she couldn’t tell. Her long lost love was fighting, fighting against something she couldn’t understand or see. She was now unable tell the difference from the dream and the real world. She saw herself in front of a Gigantic gate. The gate reached the sky and had light coming out of its doors, it was so beutiful she wanted to touch it, to open it, to cross it ... the doors were opening and she was about to cross it when she felt something pulling her back. It was Ballcoth, his hand was grabing her
Siph: Leave me you devil Ballcoth: You must fight Siph: You won’t drive me away from the light
She saw Ballcoth’s mouth opening, from it a snake came out and bit her, the poison quicly spread trough her body. The Gates were now closing
Siph: NOO, No I want to, let me, realease me I need Ballcoth: Snap out! You’r safe here with us. Siph: Go away, leave me
The Gates closed and she cried, she felt herself crying until the end of time.
He walked out of the Cove and found a spot by the road where he could have some time to analise the orb. He found out that the next orb would lay in Uldaman, a strange feeling went by his body, he started to breath heavily and having cold sweet.
««Something is wrong...NO Something is amazingly right»»
He knew this feeling, he felt it when magnolia died, he turned around and faced the Troll.
Ballcoth: You...
The troll was about to run but Ballcoth didn’t give him a chance, not this time. His Infernal blocked the mage’s path and improsend him, in his arms.
Ballcoth: I’ve been waiting for this day my whole life Troll: ««Trolish»» You really think you can kill me mon!!?
The Troll blinked and he was now behind Ballcoth, he casted a spell so that Ballcoth and his Infernal couldn’t move
Troll: ««Common»» Now you’ll die just like that bitch of yours
Ballcoth went mad, his eyes were in flames and his very soul was burning! He broke free of his icy prison, and walked slowly towards the Troll
Ballcoth: You won’t see the sunrise tomorrow Troll
The Troll casted a huge fireball, that sucessfully hit Ballcoth, his comitement to Magnolia forced him not to die.
Troll:««Trolish»» Not dead? How come! *He desperately shot frostbolts at him, but with no effect* Ballcoth: Now my turn *Shadowtrance*
He corrupted the troll leaving him bleeding from his mouth and eyes, his infernal was going to attack but he stopped it.
Ballcoth: You’r all mine.
First he shot 4 shadowbolts leving his enemy near death, then he began to be creative. He caused all kind of possible suffering to this troll, agony, visions of death and decay, fear of anything and everything, until finnaly Ballcoth burnt his soul and watch him run like a mad man.
Ballcoth: You surprise me Troll, you’r not dead.
Ballcoth picked up his dagger, and slowly open the trolls guts. Using his last breath the Troll screamed until he died.
Ballcoth: Now where even.
The Infernal had broke free, and Ballcoth tought it would be better to kill it. After killing him, he spoted Endy who surely had been hidden the whole time. His faced was Horrified with what he had just seen! But he said nothing

Siph: Where am I? Am I dead?
Stange voice: Ahh, you're finally awake. And dead? Not as long as I'm around!
She lifts up from the bed, and saw another one like her
Unknown Elf: You were brought here by this lion.
Siph looked down next to the bed, and saw Salem sitting there. She gently patted him, and he licked her hand.
Siph: Good boy. You did the right thing.
Unknown elf: My name is Emerane, and I was just passing throuhg Nijel's Point when your pet came dragging you after him. I had to act quickly, because the poison had almost consumed what was left of you. Siph: I thank you my good man. I wouldn't have made it without you! Emerane: No problem, missy. You didn't tell me your name though. Siph (blushes): Oh, my manners. I'm Siph. A huntress trained in the homeland of the elves. Emerane: You most be a great hunter then. Well, if you don't mind, then I'll head off again. I was on my way to Feathermoon Hold in Feralas to visit some friends, and as usual I'm late.
When Siph heard the name Feralas, her dreams came back to her. She saw Dunadain fighting something in Feralas. She couldn't believe it. It must've been a sign from the gods. Maybe Dunadain was still alive out there. But what about the others, and what about the Orb? But what if Dunadain was actually alive.
Emerane: What's wrong, missy? You all of a sudden got such a worried face. Siph: Oh, sorry. Just remembered something. If it's not too much a hassle, can I then follow you to Feralas? Emerane: Aha, your company would surely be good. The road can be lonesome sometimes! Siph: Great, thanks, I just need to do one thing before we leave. Is there a runner at the inn? Emerane: I saw one right before. Maybe he hasn't left yet. Siph: Would you do me the favor to go get him, while I write an important letter? Emerane: Of cause I will. I'll go fetch him right away
Emerane left the room while Siph quickly wrote a short letter. When Emerane and the runner came back, she was all done.
Siph: Here, take this to Darkshore and tell the innkeeper that it's to Mustski. Runner: Sure thing, my lady Siph: And please do it as fast as you can, it's very important Runner: I won’t stop for anything!
And he ran off towards Darkshore.
Meanwhile back at Manoroc Coven Endy walked slowly towards Ballcoth.
Endy: Ballcoth! Please don't do anything! I won’t hurt you! I just want to talk! Ballcoth: Stay away Endy! I don't want to hurt you! GO AWAY NOW! Please... Endy: NO! Just listen to me! Listen and I'll go afterwards! Ballcoth: Noone can save me now! I've fulfilled my deeds in this world! I'm no longer needed here! Endy: What the hell are you talking about! You don't make sense! Ballcoth: Magnolia! You have been avenged! I will join you now!
Ballcoth draw a sharp dagger and pointed it at his own wrists. Endy was shocked but reachted quickly with a well placed burst of holy energy at Ballcoth, who got thrown backwards and dropped his dagger. Endy ran to him.
Endy: You foolish man, what the hell are you doing?
Ballcoth was crying now and tried to speak but the words that came out weren’t understandable. Endy layed his hands on him and said a quiet prayer.
Ballcoth: Why... did you... *sob* save me? After all I've done, I don't deserve to walk this world. Endy: Quit it, you are still a good man inside. I can't let a friend kill himself! Ballcoth: I don't have any friends. I only have Magnolia, but she was taken from me! Endy: You're still my friend. I know you will do the right thing. Give the orb fragments to me.
Ballcoth looked at him. This was a trick, he knew it. Endy couldn't be his friend. Noone would have him as a friend.
Ballcoth: I rather take the fragment with me in the grave. Endy: As long as I'm around you won’t go into the grave! I don't know who this Magnolia is, but I promise you this! If you would stop fooling around I'll be there for you! As your friend. Just stop this madness and give me the fragments.
Ballcoth looked into Endy's eyes, but couldn't see any lies.
Ballcoth: Are you for real?! Endy: As real as the gods I believe in!
Ballcoth slowly handed over the fragments.
Ballcoth: Uldaman! Endy: What?! Ballcoth: Uldaman, the next place we have to search! Endy: You sure about that? Ballcoth: As sure as I’m lying here in front of you! Endy: Good! Let’s head for Darkshore and meet the others then! Ballcoth: They’ll judge me. They don’t want to have me around. Endy: What foolish words you are saying. Of cause they will have you in the group. I’ll talk with them. Ballcoth: What about Siph. She’ll still hate me. Where is she by the way? Endy (sighs): Dead, I’m afraid. The satyrs got her. Ballcoth: I’m sorry. That was my fault. Endy: Doesn’t matter now. We still got a job to do. The gods will take good care of her! Let’s get to Darkshore. We got a long walk ahead of us. And you can tell me about Magnolia while we walk.
They both got up, and started their long travel towards Darkshore. Ballcoth looked at Endy and felt a feeling he hadn't felt for a long long time. He felt the love between two good friends! Maybe his humanity could still be saved.

Somewhere in Darshore
*Ah* *Hupff* *Ouch*
Shortbread: Mustski, come on let’s go by the road all these bumps are ruining my hair...and my backside too. Mustski: Shortbread, as I said before this is a shortcut. Shortbread: You shure about that? Mustski: Yes, I know these woods like the back of my hand; besides I have this feeling that we’r being followed. Shortbread: Nonsense, I see noone back there. Mustski: No point in arguing anymore little one, Aubedine is right over there. I could really use some rest and a cup of that sweet nectarthey have.
The Elves in Auberdine greeted Mustski and offer him a place to rest, meanwhile Shortbread tries to flirt with one of the Harbor Guards.
Shortbread: Hello there enchanter of my dreams... Night Elf Guard: Ohh no, don’t start with it Gnome. Shortbread: Though girl, I like that! Night Elf Guard: I’m Happily married! Shortbread: Ohh really to whom may I ask! Night Elf Guard: To a tree!
Driven by curiosity and the feeling that the Orb is worth much more than the loot she had just received, Dementhia hides in the woods and awaits their next move!
Emerane was a nice foe to have has a road companion. He was talkative and kept Siph entertained, but he knew she needed to put her thoughts in order so he always let her be the one to start the talking...
Siph: I can tell by the way you walk you’r a weapons guy. Emerane: Hehe, is it really that clear? I guess old habbits die hard. Siph: What do you mean “old habbits”? Emerane: I was once a Warrior, I worked as a bodyguard to a very rich Elf tradesman, he was my master and it was my duty to serve and honor him! Siph: What happend? Emerane: Being as wealthy and powerful as he was, he made many Allies but above all many enemies. Amongst his enemies there was this Goblin Merchant, a very rich one, he hired a group of mercenaries to kill my master. Siph: I’ve had bad experiences with Goblins myself, particularly one that I’ll never forget... Emerane: Although I, and my brothers fought bravely we couldn’t avoid him being killed. Some of us commited suicide others now roam this world offering their services to whom pays the most. I chose another path... Siph: Which is? Emerane: Besides being a warrior I’m a poet, I now roam the Earth seeking inspiration to write my poems... Siph: Have you written anything yet? Emerane: I did but all the poems I wrote were lost in the fire that burned my masters House. The last thing I wrote was after my master’s death, I was very depresed so it’s not very good, actually it’s a bit childish you won’t enjoy it! Siph: try me
Emerane pick up scroll from his backpack and started reading:
Hear the dark wolf Hear it inside of you Hear the dark wolf He's Hunting for you
You can't hide You can't run You can't flee Cause he'll always be there deep inside of the
He's the dark wolf He's your twin ghost He's the sparkling rage That Haunt's you the most
Here comes the dark wolf Ready for the bite You are the dark wolf now filled with might
Can you handle he wolf? Can you handle the hunt? Can you handle the Sorrow that comes after the stunt?
You can't accept it he'll consume you You can't reject it cause he'll always live in you.
Siph: You’r right it’s a bit depressive, but I enjoyed it
Emerane smilled and continue talking about poetry as they entered Feralas.
Endy: Life hasn’t been easy on you, I know that but there are still many reasons for you to live! Ballcoth: Like what? Endy: I don’t know, you have to figure that out for yourself. I thnink everyone is here for a reason, my purpose is to heal the hounded and help the weak, that’s what i beleive in. Ballcoth: I had my resons too. My pursue for power and revenge has led me to murder and slaughter... And even now I feel no pity, no regret for nothing I’ve done.
*He was lying, not just to Endy but to himself. He felt something for Siph but he wasn’t sure what it was*
Endy: So after we gather the orbs and create the artefact what do we do next? Ballcoth: This artefact, shall give untamed power to it’s wielder. With that power one can do whatever he likes. Endy: So, that thing about banishing the Undead is really true? Ballcoth: It is, but these kind of artefacts always have a catch. The problem is I don’t know what it is! Endy: Really? Ballcoth: Yes.
Ballcoth: This journey would be a lot faster if you rided my dreadsteed with me!
*Endy didn’t like the idea of riding a creature from hell but he made an effort and when Ballcoth summoned his dreadsteed he mounted it*
Ballcoth: Of we go then...
Unknown Night Elf: Wake up Mustski, ther’s a Human outside requesting to see you! Mustski: What does he want? Unknown Night Elf: He says he carries a message of great importance! Mustski: I’ll go meet him then
He payed the messenger for his journey and read the letter.
Mustski: Hey Shortbread, just got a letter from Siph, she says she’s fine. Shortbread: Ohh Good! Does she say why she’s not here? Mustski: She says that she has some important affairs to deal with. Shortbread: What else? Does she say anything about Endy, or even Ballcoth? Mustski: Nothing more, typical of her. Aughh well let’s get going, where does the orb tell us to go? Shortbread: From what I could figure out, it’s located in the Badlands. Mustski: Pack your things let’s get the boat to The Wetlands.
They left the inn and walked towards the harbor were they were told that the next boat would arrive in about 2 hours.
Shortbread: Dammit I hate waiting. Mustski: Patience is a virtude my friend. But i suppose I can arranje something to entertain you.
From his backpack he picked up a wodden board and some pieces that looked like toys.
Shortbread: i didn’t know you Elves liked that old Dwarven Game! Mustki: Well not all, but I love to play chess.
Right bellow them hidden underwater, Dementhia awaits for the boat aswell
The trees were high, but unlike Teldrassil the climate was very tropical, and the air was heavy. Siph tried to picture her dream over and over again, but all she could see was a Dunadain fighting with something...
In her mind«« By the way he was holding his bow it had to be something high, and there was something more he was near the water she could see some water elementals on the background»»
Siph: Are there any water elementals in this place Emerance? Emerane: sure, they can be found all over the coast line! Siph: Dammit that a very big area to search for, but I don’t have any choice! Emerane: That Dunadain guy, must really mean something! Siph. How do you know his name? Emerane. You screamed it while you were intoxicated with that poison. Siph: Ohh. We are ... were friends. Emerane: Let’s start searching from the upper part of the coastline, there is a huge concentration of Water elementals there.
After a while seeking they were assaulted by a Giant that walked the deep.
Emerane: Stay there I’ll take care of him
With no swords or bow the only thing she did was ordering salem to assist Emerane. Suddently The dream came back to her, she now saw Dunadain fighting this huge creature... Emerane used his Sabre to cut the giant’s feet, and sucessfully brought him to the ground. Unfortunately the Giant didn’t stop attacking he managed to predict where Emerane was going to dodge and attacked, Emerane was knocked unconscious. Salem jumped to the Giant’s head and Tried to bite it’s throat, he was also knoecked by the giants punches.
««Think, Think quick! His movement is slowed, I’ll try running to get him tired»»
She ran north into the mountains as fast as she could. She found a small cave hidden behind some bushes were she hid. As she crawled in, she noticed something on the floor, it was Dunadain’s Bow it had an arrow and and a message linked to it. She quicly grabbed the bow and crawled her way out...
Giant: I shall smash you, where are you *He yelled*
He was weakend by the wounds Salem and Emerane caused him. He was bleeding heavily, and as his hounds got worse his rage grew; he now started to break the trees in front of him.
««Come on girl, you can do it»» She picked up the only arrow she had left, she pointed it at the giants head. ««Just a litle closer, a little more»»
*Fshhh*
The arrow hitted the giant right on the forehead. Seeing that Salem was alright she quicly ran towards Emerane.
Siph: Are you okay? Emerane: A bit hurt, dazed and confused. But yes, I’m okay. Siph: Praise Elune for that Emerane: I see you found a bow, do you have any arrows? Siph: Appart from the one that’s inside the Giant’s had, no. Emerane: Then let’s go to Feathermoon Stronghold, there you can buy more arrows.
As they left Siph opend the scroll, and started to read...
Endy: At last we arrive! Ballcoth: And it seems just in time, look te boat over there. Endy: Quick, make it go faster. Ballcoth: Your not suggesting I go through the riding a horse with flaming feet. Endy: The Elves have good sense of humor, let’s roll! Ballcoth: You got it
*Demonic* May the fire of hell lead our way, haste my brother.
The steed made a noise, certanly in agreement, his flames were now even more higher and as he ran through the Inn he burned the path before him..
Ballcoth: I hope you’r right about that sense of humor
Endy looked behind, and found that a group of Elves were running towards them. The boat left, but his steed jumped onto it, and they sailed way towards The eastern kingdoms.

Siph and Emerane sat one the mole waiting for the boat to feathermoon. Siph read the message on the scroll over and over again. She couldn't believe it.
"To whoever finds this. I fear for my life. I've found something of great importance for the alliance, but I feel evil clouding my thoughts. Please take this bow, and deliver it to Darnasus. There's a young hunter called Siph living there. She'll know what to do. Tell her to travel to Feathermoon Stronghold. People will await her there. Dunadain."
Siph knew that his bow would mean everything for him. So why did he leave it behind. So many unanswered questions. But she hoped the elves in Feathermoon could help her. Someone would be waiting for her.
Emerane: You've been so silent since you've read that scroll. Not that I want to bother you with it, but you look so pale all of a sudden. Siph: Oh, it's just very strange. I don't fully understand the meanings and the whys yet. Emerane: If it's fine by you, I could take a look at it. Maybe help you figure out the puzzle. Siph: Would be worth a try I suppose.
Siph hands over the scroll and Emerane starts reading. When he's done he hands it back.
Siph: I don't understand why he would leave his beloved bow behind. I gave it to him as a present, and he would never go anywhere without it. Emerane: Sounds like a big token to give to a friend. But who am I to judge. But I agree it's odd that he left it if it meant that much to him. Siph: I haven't told you the whole truth. We were in love before he left. I missed him alot. And after all this I found out I still do. Emerane: Maybe he left it to you to have, because he knew you would get interested because of the emotionel value. Siph: So you are saying that he would do that so I would follow his tracks? Emerane: Maybe. Siph: Could be an explanaition. Just wondering why he wants me to follow him. What he found. And who the people are who should be waiting for me. Emerane: Well, I think we are about to find out. There's the boat.
They both got on board and soon after they were headed towards Feathermoon.
Outside the shores of Auberdine, a boat sailed towards eastern kingdoms. Four, more or less, good friends are yet again united.
Mustski: Are my eyes betraying me, or was that a great entrance? Shortbread: I've seen many things in my life, but never a Dreadsteed jumping like that. Fire, water, elves, humans and dwarfs! All united in one perfect performed show. Endy: Some of it was my idea!
Endy jumped down from the steed and ran towards Mustski and Shortbread. He hugged them both.
Mustski: Ow ho ho... Someone have missed me. Endy: I'm so glad to see you. Shortbread: And you brought the running warlock. How neat!
Ballcoth jumped off the steed and said something in demonish. The steed went up in smoke, and dissapeared.
Ballcoth: I'm really not in the mood for jokes! Endy: Short, please behave, will you? We've been through alot already. And besides, I got some bad news. Mustski: Aye, Ballcoth is back, and that's good. We all need to talk this through, though. I don't want anything like this to happen again. Shortbread: Yeah, I'm sorry. Won't happen again. Mustski: Now, you said something about bad news. Endy: Siph. I think she might be dead. We were surprised by satyrs, and we got seperated. And after that I... Mustski: Hold on, Endy. Sorry to interupt you, I really like to hear what happend, but I think I can cheer you up a bit.
Mustski handed over the letter from Siph. Endy read it fast. His mind couldn't believe it.
Endy: By the gods. This is the best news I've gotten in a long time. Ballcoth! She survived! Ballcoth: I'm happy she didn't get hurt. And I'm sorry about what happend. I... I wasn't quiet myself. Endy: No need to appoligise. We are all still alive. Mustski: Now, let's get downstairs. Find a cabin, and let's get a drink of somekind. Then you can tell us all about what happend out there.
Endy and Ballcoth told all that happend. Ballcoth told about Magnolia and the troll. And about how his feelings and mind was influenced by the fragments. Telling all this kinda relieved his heart a bit. Not many had listened to him like that. Actually listened to him because they wanted to hear what he had to say. He started to feel warm inside.
Far away from the four uniting friends, another boat arrived it's destination. Siph and Emerane went to the inn to speak with the innkeeper. Emerane wanted to rent a bed for the night. Siph wanted to solve a new found mystery.
Innkeeper: Welcome to feathermoon newcomers. May you days here be pleasent. Siph: Thanks alot. I hoped you could help me with a mystery. Innkeeper: It depends on the mystery I guess. Siph: I'm here to look for a friend. His name is Dunadain Innkeeper: I know I've heard that name before, but it's a long time since I heard it the last time. Can't quiet place it. Siph: He told me someone was waiting for me here. Innkeeper: Alot of travelers comes through here these days. I didn't catch your name. Siph: I'm Siph and I... Innkeeper: Siph? Oh my... If only I got a silver coin for every time I've heard that name. So you are the great Siph?! Siph: Eehh... sorry? You know me? Innkeeper (laughs): No, i don't. But I know some guys who do. And I think they'll be thrilled to finally meet you! Siph: This is getting even more weird. Who can possibly know me here? I've never been here before. Innkeeper: Just wait here. I'll send one of my helpers.
The innkeeper whispered something to one of his helpers, who looked at Siph and then ran off. Siph went to Emerane who was sitting by the fire place and was getting himself a pint of ale.
Emerane: I think our journey will end here. I hope you'll figure out your puzzle! Siph: I can't thank you enough for your help. And I'm sure many people soon will read your fine poetry! Emerane (laughs): Yeah, I surely hope so. May the gods look after you. Siph: May the gods look after you, my good man!
The helper came back and three elfs followed him. When they saw Siph they went straight to her. They all saluted her and took her hand and bowed to her. Siph was confused.
1st nightelf: I'm Umehim, my profession is healing, and I've been waiting for years to meet you! 2nd nightelf: Elusit at your service. I bring good spirit to every party and uses mother nature to get me where I want. At your service, my lady! 3rd nightelf: Ignamar here. I'm good with a blade, and enemies don't see me before it's too late. It's an honour to meet you! Umehim: We had a fourth companion, Maimau, but he died last year while he was fighting one of the corupted treants in the forests of Feralas. May the gods take good care of him. Siph: I'm sorry to hear, but I'm so confused. Who are you lot, and why have you been waiting? Elusit: You don't know? Are you fooling around with us? I must admit I love a good joke, but I don't quiet get this one! Siph: It's not a joke. I only have this scroll, and I must admit that most of it is a mystery to me.
Umehim read the message and looked at Siph.
Umehim: Not many clues on that note. I must admit that. Well, let's find a cozy corner, order some of the great ale, and let's fill you in on the details. Siph: That sounds great, but I'll pass on the ale. But I would be happy for good warm cup of herb tea. Umehim: Herb tea it will be then. But we must act quick now. Time is running up. Well, it might have years ago!
They all ordered and found a corner to sit in. The three merry elfs told her a long story she couldn't believe.

Maimau: Quick, Dunadain. We have to get out of here. The centaurs have been alerted! Dunadain: Give me one second. I think I've found what we are looking for!
Dunadain opened the chest standing beside the dead centaur. There was alot of stuff in the chest, but he found the most important thing, a letter. He quickly opened it, read the first lines and was then sure it was it.
Dunadain: Got it! Let's get out of here!
They both ran out of the tent that was placed high above the ground on Darkcloud Pinnacle. Dunadain hated to be in thousand needles and was relieved that his finding might get his out of this region.
They ran across a big hanging bridge to get to the next pinnacle. A big group of centaurs was following them. Maimau ran over the next bridge with Dunadain right behind him.
Maimau: The path down is on the next pinnacle. Hurry!
They ran acroos another bridge, but stopped when they were halfway over. A large group of centaurs was on their way up the path they've planned to escape from.
Maimau: Trapped! Dunadain: I think we have to fight our way out! Maimau: Well, I have to inform you that we are a bit outnumbered! Dunadain: Like I haven't noticed!
They both drew their weapons. The first wave of centaurs from both sides of the bridge was easily slayed, but they wouldn't be able to keep up the resistance much longer. Dunadains mind tried to figure out how to get out of this situation. His sharp elven eyes looked around, but he couldn't see any other possibilies, but one!
DUnadain: Jump! Maimau: WHAT?! Dunadain: FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR GOD! JUMP!! Maimau: If I have to die, I rather do it in combat! Dunadain: You won't die with me around!
Dunadain pushed Maimau over the edge and jumped after him. The centaurs looked confused at them, but quickly realized what just happend. They all started to run towards the path down in fury. Maimau and Dunadain landed in the water beneath them. Water elementals was bouldering around in the water, and charged at them as soon as the two came back to the surface. They fought them off and quickly found ground under their feet again. They started to run as fast as their legs would allow them.
Dunadain: In a fight, always remember to look up and down too! You never know where you are standing! Maimau: Wise words, but how do we outrun those four legged creatures when we ourselves only got two? Dunadain: Just turn right after that pinnacle!
They ran around it, and Dunadain shadowmelded close to it. Maimau quickly did the same. The raging centaurs ran right past them with out noticing them. They were so furious they didn't see the two hiding elves. When they were gone Dunadain and Maimau started to run west towards Feralas.
Maimau: What did the letter say? Dunadain: We have to visit the ogres in Dire Maul! Maimau: Sounds like fun, where do I sign up? Dunadain: You, my friend, don't have to sign up anywhere! You don't have a choice! Maimau: Nothing like a good beating! Just give me a where and when! Dunadain: I will, mate, but patience! We will need help. Maimau: I think I now just the blokes to help us then. They might be merry like dwarves when they're drunk, but fighting is what they are made for!
And they travelled to Feathermoon. Maimau introduced Dunadain to his friends Umehim, Elusit and Ignamar. They drank alot and told each other war stories, and about adventures they've been through. Dunadain was happy to meet his new companions. He was first introduced to Maimau in Ashenvale where they did alot of scouting together. Their mission had been simple back then. They had to hold the orc population in this region down. But after some months they got their first real task. They had caught a centaur runner with an important letter to the Darkclaud leader. The letter contained information about an mysterious orb. The officers in Ashenvale decided to sent out an investigation team, and Dunadain and Maimau was selected to this task. Maimau was a great warrior and became a good friend to Dunadain. He had often heard about stories about the three other elfs, now sitting here beside him. Maimau often spoke about them when he had the chance, so Dunadain was honoured finally to team up with them.
A couple of days after they went to Dire Maul and easily slaugthered what and who came in their way. They searched Dire Maul for weeks an finally Dunadain found the orb, but it turned out just to be a fragment. The five friends went back to Feathermoon and Dunadain told them he had to report back to his officers. He travelled alone through the wilderness of Feralas, but he started to feel something evil was taking place in his mind. He camped in the forest for days and used more and more time just looking at the orb, listening to the more and more common voices in his head.
One day he woke up after a horrible dream. A dream about the scourge. A dream about horror. A dream about a big army gathering in the undead city. But for once he felt he thought clearly. Something he hadn't done in many days. He couldn't find out how many days had gone, but he had to act quickly. He went back to Feathermoon and told this to his comrads:
This orb is one of the most evil orbs that roams this world. And you can never mention anything about it to anyone! Noone, but one person! Someone I know I can trust with my life! Her name if Siph, and she is one of the greatest hunters walking this world. I will send her a message to come meet you guys here. You can't leave this place until she has contacted you. Never! Do you understand?! I will go to Tanaris where I will hide. I can feel that I'm not always myself anymore. Something has taken place in me. I'm no longer safe. My only hope is that my love to Siph can save me. In Gadgetstan there's a well known goblin bank. I will hide a clue in one of their bank boxes in their vault of where I will be hiding. You, my friends, are the only one I truly trust by now, I trust you more than I trust myself. So please say you will help me!
They all agreed and Dunadain left the island. But on his way along the shore a big giant attacked him and Dunadain had to throw everything he was carrying except the orb. Dunadain got heavily wounded but managed to crawl to a nearby cave. He got unconcious. When he woke up he felt the evil inside him had grown stronger. How long time had he been out? He had to sent some sort of message to Siph. But the only thing he could think of was leaving the bow and a message, and hope that someone would find it. He couldn't trust himself anymore, so he had to do it right away. He did so before he got unconcious again. When he woke up he was in Shimmering Flats. How did he get here? He couldn't remember. But he remembered dreams of him walking through thousand needles, slaying animals, and even orcs and taurans who came across him, eating and drinking their flesh and blood. What had he become?! He quickly travelled to Tanaris, and after that day, noone saw him again.
The four merry elfs waited in Feathermoon, but a year passed and Siph didn't show up. They got more and more worried that she never would, but their promise to Dunadain was strong, so they just kept waiting. If this should be the place they ended their days, this most be it! They hunted in Feralas when they got bored. Maimau was killed by and corupted truant and the three remaining was moaning about their loss. But a promise was a promise. Then one day the innkeepers little helper came and told them that their waiting was over, and they were so thrilled about this news. They met with Siph and told her their story.
When they was done, Ignamar was the first to break the silence.
Ignamar: We need a new warrior though. I got a strong feeling that our journey won't succeed without a greatly skilled fighter. Siph: What about a poet?
They all looked at each other and said in choir: A poet?
Siph: Yeah, he is very skilled with words, but even more with a sword. And he is sitting right over there drinking his ale. Umehim: As long as he won't try to talk the enemy to death, I think he would fit. If he even wants to join us. Siph: Leave that to me.
She stood up, and went over to Emerane.
