The majestic vessel cutted trough the waves smoothly but swiftly, since the wind favoured them the journey didn’t last long. Drinking and smoking their pipes on the lower deck the team hardly noticed the boat arriving.
Endy: Nice move, but predictable... Endy: Checkmate * Said the dwarf laughing* Mustski: Ohh, no not again... Endy. You know what this means! Mustli: Yes I do! Bottoms up? Endy: Bottoms up, lad!
*They both refilled their mugs, and in one single move drank all the ale on them. Unlike Mustski, Endy was used to the Dwarven ale so he filled his mug again and with a proud smilled*
Endy: Rematch? Mustski: No, thanks I think I’m going to trhow up...
Endy couldn’t help laughing, but he helped Mustki reaching the upper deck in order to do...well what he had to do!
Meanwhile...
On the north corner of the upper deck Shortbread was confortabily sitting with his feet up watching the waves hipnotic movement thinking about the Night Elf guard he had left behind.
««I wish he fell on the water and drowned. Stop it, you can’t think like that, well not anymore. OK, ok let’s try again. I wish ... He fell on the water and huge sea snakes eated him. Ohh, this is so hard.»»
While he fought against his desires he reached the Southern upper corner of the deck where he heard someone sneezing.
*Aaatchouu...*
The noise came from under a blanket in the middle of the vessel’s cargo.
Ballcoth: I know you’r there, you might as well show yourself.
Another sneeze came, but this one was so loud even Shortbread heard it.
Shortbread: Is everything okay, Ballcoth? Ballcoth: Yes, yes everything is fine
Shortbread didn’t buy it so he came closer, on his way he saw Endy carrying Mustski to the upper deck.
Endy: The fresh sea air will put you back together. Endy Took a closer look at Mustski *Maybe this isn’t enought* He picked up a water barrel and threw it at Mustki’s face Endy: There ya go lad, all fresh and shiny. Mustski: *Sick noise*
Ballcoth: If you don’t come out of there I’ll warm you up so much that you’ll never catch a cold again in your life. UnkownVoice: Bally?
* From the blanket raised a woman with a surprised look in her face*
Ballcoth: Clea? * He couldn’t beleive his eyes* Clea: I burryed that name a long time ago. Some call me the Two of Spades, others know me as Crow, but currently I go by the name of... Shortbread: Dementhia? You followed us, how rude of you! Ballcoth: Is this the Dementhia you guys were talking about? Shortbread: Yeah, why you know her? Ballcoth: Of course I know her. This is my little sister Clea!
She sat down in front of Emerane who seemed absorved in his writting, she didn’t want to disturb him so she waited.
Emerane: If you are here I assume you’ll request my help!*He lift up his head* Siph: Yes, we could use an Elve that can wield a sword like you Emerane. Emerane: Ohh Siph, don’t ask me that, my days of questing are long gone. Siph: From what I’ve seen back on the beach you seemed pretty fit. Emerane: Please do not insist. I no longer walk that path. Siph: Once a warrior, always a warrior...Have you forgotten? Emerane: No but... Siph: And what about aiding a friend, isn’t that worth the effort.
He looked at her with a troubled face.
Emerane: Leave me for a while I need to meditate over that.
Siph didn’t have much time, but she needed him badly. Besides this Warrior respected the old Elven ways, whom was she to question that?
Emerane: Siph! I agree, I couldn’t refuse to aid a fellow Elf whatever the consequeces are. Siph: I’m glad you made the right choice. You already know our partymates so let’s get going. Ignamar: Hey, Emerane take this, it suits you better than me *Ignamar handed a shield over to Emerane* Emerane: Anu'dora, thank you
The boat was already waiting for them at the harbor, it was time just for one last goodbye.
Siph: Asha'falah my brothers * She said as she waved*
The Elves on the isle joined to say farewell, and the boat left.
When they arrived Mustki was still a bit dazed but he was felling a lot better««No more ale for me»» he tought. But it wasn’t just Mustski whom was dazed and confused Endy and Shortbread were astonished with their new discovery.
In Shortbread’s mind ««Great a familly meeting of delusinal and mentally insane people»»
As they walked towards the Griphon master Endy rushed his step a bit and reached Ballcoth.
Endy: You never told me you had a sister! Ballcoth: She’s only half sister. I was seven when my father died, not long after his death my mother married again, this time with one of her kind. Endy: So you’r Eight years older? Ballcoth: Yes!
Endy was even more surprised, Dementhia seemed to be no more that 28 years old, on the other hand Ballcoth looked like he was over his mid 40’s.
Ballcoth: What’s wrong is there something in my face Endy? Endy: No, no nothing’s wrong. Tell me your parents dumped her too? Ballcoth: NO. No, she had all the love and care in the world, she even started training to become a Paladin. Endy: What happend? *He wispered* Ballcoth: She was once assigned to kill a criminal leader of the well known Defias Clan. Endy: Van Cleef? Ballcoth. Yes.That bastard seduced my sister and she fell deeply in love with him, her criminal activity began there. I suppose the son of a b**** was a “good” teacher. Endy: How do you know all this? Ballcoth: Back then I worried about her, I used to visit her in Moonbrook, I tried to take her away but that bastard really got to her heart, and mind. Endy: What happend next? Ballcoth: She stoped coming and I grew fonder of my cave in Duskwood, plus I met Magnolia about that time.
Dementhia sneeked upon them
Dementhia: He didn’t seduced me, we fell in love. Something you would never understand Bally! Ballcoth: Shut up! *He angrily yelled* Shortbread: Hehe can I call you Bally too. Ballcoth: Not if you want to see that Night Elf again. Shortbread: How did you... Ballcoth: I know many things. Let’s get going shall we stop at Ironforge?
The party agreed to stop in Ironforge since many things needed to be bought and packed before the great adventure.
As they flew over the Great Mountain they spoted a huge stronghold floating on the sky.
««It has begun once again»» Ballcoth tought
Shortbread was worried with Ballcoth’s mind reading. He didn’t want to imagine if he had listened to his tough back on the harbor, he was so disturbed that he fell off the Griphon. He quicly picked up a feather from his backpac and casted a spell that made him fall smothly right in fron of the gates of Ironforge.
Shortbread: Weeeheeee *He screamed has he fell*
Ballcoth bought some herbs and vials, prepared some potions and created the required stones. Shortbread was gone for a while sisnce a new barber shop had opened in town he was expected to be late. Mustski and Endy bought not much but a few things and went straight to the gate of Ironforge were Ball coth would meet them a bit later.
Mustski: And so the scourge strikes back. Endy: And so must we Mustski, and so must we... Ballcoth: Let’s get going guys. Endy: Be right with you Ballcoth.
The party gathered up in front of the Griphon master. Endy and Mustski were the first to leave towards Loch Modan.
Shortbread: How do you like my new haircut Mustski? Wait a tic, were’s Mustski? Ballcoth: They already left, I’m waiting for Cle, I mean Dementhia. Shortbread: Ok meet you in the Loch...lock *He made that irritating laugh while he left on the griphon* Dementhia:I’m sorry had to get some poisons. Ballcoth. No problem, let’s go Clea.
They arrived at the deserted shoreline, this had been a great Elven outpost once* And one day it will be again * they all tought it, but none said it. They walked south and then East, after a while walking they got nearer to camp Mojache.
Ignamar: I’ll go take a look Elusit: I’m going too.
Using their unique abilities the Elves Stealhed and got closer and closer to the camp, after a while they came back
Ingnamar: We got some good news and some bad news. Siph&Umehim: The bad ones first, always. Elusit: It seems there is a massive concentration on that camp, from what I figured it’s a Tauren Guild meeting. Emerane: What’s the good news. Ingnamar: The good news is that they are all celabrating some achievement they made. Most of them are drunk, we can pass right by them but we must watch for the guards.
They went by the river and managed to crwal onto the other side.
Siph: That was easy
But Siph spoke too soon, one of the sober Tauren Guards, who didn’t like partys had gone to the woods, god knows why, and when he spoted them he started screaming for backup and bravelly charged at them
Emerane quicly “silenced” him with the swing of his sword. But Even for Emerane it was too late, the scream had already alerted the other guards.
Siph. Quick, now RUN to Thalanaar!
As she looked behind she could see an example of the Taurens Endurance, the drunken Guild quicly stood up and a bit dazed started to run (some of them against each other) towards them.
They ran as fast as they could, but when they reached Thalanaar they understood the reason why they were celebrating, the holw camp has been raised to the ground.
Ignamar: This shall not pass with no punisment, let’s stay and fight my brothers* he angrily yelled* Emerane: I agree * he had now stoped* Elusit: Are you mad? Now is not the time for bravery, let’s run out of here. We’ll have plenty of time to deal with them later.
Ignamar was clearly disapointed, but Siph had agreed with Elusit, and she was the leader, so he followed.
They arrived at the Loch by Nightfall. By then Endy had bought himself a Ram, Shortbread was mounting Mustski (who was clearly tired of it), and Ballcoth rided his Dreasteed with Dementhia. They rided South unitl they reached Uldaman in the Badlands. Before everyone got in they prepared for battle. Ballcoth created 2 Healthstones one for him and one for Dementhia (Who knew exactly what to do with it) and he summoned Thannar. Shortbread created water for everyone includng Ballcoth, but he didn’t accept it. Mustski shapeshiffted into a bear and Endy said some Holy words.
Endy: Let’s go *Although none nominated him as the leader, he felt like it and everyone accpeted it* Dementhia: It was about time if I continue sharpening this blade, by the end of the day it wouldn’t exist.
Their first encounter was with a group of Dwarves.
Mustki and Thanar Charged at the miners, while they kept them entertained Dementhia quicly used her sword and dagger to cut their bodies. Endy continuosly healed Mustki and Thanar while Ballcoth and Shortbread blasted the mages with their magics. The instance was tougher than they expected, Ballcoth got severelly injured using Hellfire to kill a massive group of Scorpions that was going to attack them, Shortbread used his Arcane explosions to blast the bats into smoke, Dementhia’s precise blows made their enemies scream painfully, Mustki managed to protect our Healer while dealing some impressive damage himself and of course this wouldn’t be possible without Endy’s extreme healing abilities. But, it wasn’t enough on each corner a new challenge awaited more Iron Dwarves, or Stone Giants, more Bats or scorpions they were starting to get tired, and Endy suspected thath they were going on circles.
Endy: I think we’ve been here before! Ballcoth can’t you sense the orb? Ballcoth: I do sense something, but these walls are magical and naturally very thick. Mustski: We can’t keep on like this Shortbread: I need to eat something, does anyone wat some conjusred food? Mustski: I could use a snack. Endy: I would say there’s no time to eat but I guess we hve nothing better to do, while we eat we think of something.
Shortbread handed over some vegetables and meat to Endy. Ballcoth got closer to Dementhia.
Ballcoth: I left a semi-living dwarf on the room back there, why don’t you go there check it out. If you know what I mean? *He wispered* Dementhia: Got it Bro
Ballcoth: I think I lost...a shard back there she’s just going to help me find it, we’ll be right back.
They reached the room with the half burnt dwarf on the floor. Ballcoth tied his hands and feet while Dementhia put a piece of cloth in his mouth.
Ballcoth: Give me your dagger! Dementhia: No way, I know you’r good but I can do this by myself. Ballcoth: I’ll let you do whtever you like just give me your dagger.
She handed her dagger over to Ballcoth who made fire on his hands. As the Dagger turned red the dwarf started to realise what was going to happend. Ballcoth delivered the hot Dagger to Dementhia who started to cut the burnt flesh with it.
Darkirondwarf: Hmmmpfff*Sounds of pain*
Ballcoth: She’ll take you eyes next, so if I remove the cloth from your mouth am I going to hear were do you keep it hidden? The dwarf agreed with his head, but as soon as they removed the cloth
Darkirondwarf: Come Kiss me Dwar*He was silenced by the cloth* Ballcoth: Eyes first!
Dementhia reached the dagger to the dwarfs head and with a slow move she removed the left eye.
Ballcoth: It seems he still doesn’t want to talk. You see this stone here, If I use it you will be healed. This means you won’t die until we tell you to! Do you want to have a quick death or a slow painfull one? Ballcoth: No use, take his right eye of. Dementhia: I have a better idea, let’s take his balls of. Ballcoth: Tricky woman, I would never think of that, go for it.
As Dementhia reached her dagger to the Dwarves jimmy he noded vividly.
Darkirondwarf: It’s in the ancients chambers! Dementhia: how do we get there? Darkirondwarf: Turn right on the next corner then left...then open a bifg door and yer ther. Ballcoth: Good Dwarf, now you’ll wait here tied up, If i find out you’r lying I’ll..
Dementhia was quicker and cutted his head of, Ballcoth looked at his sister a bit scared but he didn’t comment it.
They ran for as long and as fast as they could, but they were no longer on their natural enviroment and they slowly reducd their speed.
Umehim: We’r doomed Emerane: Not a very priest-like word but sure fits the situations Siph: COME ON JUST A LITTLE MORE* She ran passed them with amazing speed* Emerane: Keep it Up* he screamed and the party fell strangely safer*
Ignamar Quicly reached her sprinting followed by Elusit in cat form. They were now reaching the Great lift.
Siph: Quicly Follow me *She yelled*
Unlike anyone had expected she ran straight into he centaur camp, the centaurs were so astonished that they only realised what was going on when the Tauren started burning their village.
Emerane: Great idea, good thing we have you as a leader. Elusit: No question about that I suppose.
Altough they felt safer they didn’t feel quite safe, so they didn’t stop running until they had reached the shimering Flats.

Ballcoth and Dementhia came back to the others.
Endy: Did you two find what you were looking for? Ballcoth: Yeah, we are ready to move on Shortbread: I got a really good feeling that we have to turn left up here. Ballcoth: You're mistaken my good mage. I sense we have to turn right!
Shortbread and Ballcoth looked at each other. Shortbread didn't like that a warlock was a better pathfinder than he was, so he continued.
Shortbread: No, I'm pretty sure it's left! Ballcoth: Go on, if you really want to wander around here for ages... Mustski: Shortbread, I don't think it hurts to try Ballcoth's directions. Endy: Yeah, if he is mistaken it's okay, and we can turn back.
Shortbread made a weird sound, but didn't say more. Dementhia said nothing. She just thought it was very amusing to see the little gnome getting more and more red in his face. They turned left as Ballcoth said and they got to another place where the cave divided in two.
Shortbread: And now what? Ballcoth (smiles): What do you suggest? Shortbread: Definately right again! Ballcoth: Oh? Well, I would go left here! Shortbread: You are telling us to go the opposite way of what I'm saying! Just to iritate me I thinK! Ballcoth: Nah, I just got a pretty good feeling! Endy: Shut up now, both of you. Ballcoth? Is Shortbread telling the truth? Ballcoth: No, I got a very good feeling it's left here! Mustski: I don't know how you do it, but I hope you are right. Let's go left!
Shortbread was a bit angry now, but kept it to himself. A warlock as a pathfinder. Bah! They came to a big cave. On their left side was a big stone door. Shortbread looked surprised at it, and forgot his anger.
Shortbread: Oh my... Looks like my senses are fooling me. The lock was right! Ballcoth: Don't worry mate, these thick stone walls can be tricky.
But inside Ballcoth was in a very good mood. It was good finally to get that iritating little gnome.
Mustski: Okay, guys, let's go inside and see what's hidden down here.
They all pushed and pushed and at last the door opened. They looked into nothing but darkness. There was such an evil silence in there, that the party felt very scared.
Siph reached the top of the hill as the first one. After they arrived the Shimmering Flats they took it more easy. They went south towards the mountains but found a path through, and now they were all standing atop of the hill looking down into Tanaris.
Siph: I've always hated deserts... Emerane: Your darkest fears always lies where you least want to search Ignamar: What a poet! Umehim: Hope your skills with a weapon is as tough as your pen! Siph: I've seen him in action. I would trust him my life. Emerane: Thank you so much. But with your aim I wouldn't have to use a muscle. Siph: I surely hope you are right. But speaking of weapons. I could use a sword or two. Let's go see what the goblins in Gadgetstan has to offer.
And so they went down the hill. They entered Gadgetstan where the guards welcomed them
Guard 1: Welcome to Gadgetstan! We are surely happy to greet you inside our humble city. Guard 2: But we just advise you that fighting inside the walls won't be accepted. Guard 1: So accept this as neutral ground! Siph: We accept your rules. We will only stay until tomorrow and then we'll leave again. Guard 2: You may stay as long as you will. Welcome to Gadgetstan!
They all entered and looked around. The moon had been up for some hours so she thought it would be good to get some sleep.
Siph: Elusit, Ignamar and Umehim. Can you please go to the inn and find us some room. We need to get some sleep. Maybe let the cook prepare some dinner for us. Emerane and I will go to the vault and see what's hidden there. Elusit: As you will, my lady. Ignamar: Don't stay down there too long. We need to drink a pint of ale before we go to bed. Umehim: I'll see if they have any herb tea for you Siph. Siph: Sounds great guys. It won't take long.
Mustski was standing inside the chamber, looking at all the stone golems. They had tried to open the other door, but it was sealed shut.
Shortbread: They sure look creepy. Endy: I just hope they are and remain stone. This place gives me the creeps. Dementhia: There has to be something in here that opens the door. Mustski: Yeah, but what can it be?
They all went around in the room looking. But the more they searched the more they lost the feeling they could move on.
Shortbread: Geee, my feets are tired of walking. I need to sit down.
He jumped unto an altar that was placed in the middle of the room and sat down. A strange sound occured.
Shortbread: eeh... was that me? Ballcoth: What did you do? Shortbread: I just sat down... Mustski: Quick, be ready, something is happening.
BUt before he could even finish the sentense one of the golems came alive and grabbed Ballcoth.
Ballcoth: what the f...
Dementhia ran towards the golem and swang her swords. But her blade didn't do much damage on the stone skin of the golem.
Dementhia: Release my brother!
Shortbread jumped on his feet and threw a fire ball at the golem, so he dropped Ballcoth, who quickly turned around and threw some shadow bolts at it, and it went into pieces. But around them more
and more golems came alive.
Mustski: Quick! Dementhia, attract them, and pull them to that corner.
And so she did. They all went after her.
Mustski: Oh, great mother, gather the powers of nature, and help me defeat these stones of evil.
The wind all of a sudden started to blow.
Mustski: May your power strike upon the ones trying to harm this party. May earth, fire, water and wind help us succeed our quest.
A big dark cloud occured above the stone golems, right under the ceiling.
Mustski: Strike upon these stone golems! Swiftly, quickly, oh, great mother, NOW!
The lightning stroke down from the cloud onto the golems. A lightning hit one of the golems which shattered in thousand pieces. The lightning stroke again and again, and at last only one was left. Mustski fell of excaustion.
Mustski (whispering): Fire ball...
The others was just standing there, amazingly watching the show. Only Endy who was close enough to Mustski reacted.
Endy: What?! Say again! Mustski: Fire ball, kill the last one. Endy (yelled): Shortbread! Fire ball! Quick!
Shortbread looked at him, and understood right away what to do. He fired up a great fire ball and threw it at the golem, but missed because he was still abit amazed of Mustski powers.
Shortbread: Damn!!
Ballcoth watched it all in slow motion. He had never seen such great powers from a druid. But as the fire ball hit the wall instead of the golem he realized that his sister was close to death. He said something in demonic and fired a shadow bolt at the golem, but only hit it's arm, that shattered into pieces. The golem turned around and walked fast towards Ballcoth. It almost reached him, when Shortbread fired another fire ball and hit the golems head that blew into pieces. Ballcoth got all covered with dust and small stones.
Shortbread: weeehaaa! Bulls eye! Ballcoth: Ooh... wha... t...
The rest of the golem walked one step more before it fell. Endy was quick and pulled Ballcoth away from the place where the golem hit the floor and shattered. The big doors opened.
Ballcoth looked at Endy.
Ballcoth: Thank you good dwarf. Endy: Don't mention it.
He quick ran to Mustski.
Endy: Mustski. Are you allright? Mustski: Yeah, yeah, give me a quick break. Just need to relax.
Dementhia who still stood in the corner was amazed.
Dementhia: You have great powers druid. Remind me never to get on your bad side.
Endy layed his hands on Mustski who felt the warmth from his hands filling his body and regained his power.
Mustski: Thanks, I've said it before and I repeat it. You are a great priest. Endy: I start to understand, but let's move on. I feel that the time isn't on our side. Mustski: Aye, you are right. Let's move one.
They went through some halls until they came to another chamber, this time even bigger. A very big golem was standing in the middle with alot of golems, like the ones in the room before, was standing around it and formed some kind of circle. Behind them, there was another door.
Mustski: Oh no... more golems?! Shortbread: Not to mention that big ass there in the middle.
They all of a sudden got very excausted.
Siph: What do you mean you can't allow us to see the vault of Dunadain?! Mimble: It's a long line of goblin tradition. No others than the person himself who made the account and check it. Go look it up in our book of rules over there. Siph: But he wanted me to gain access to that vault. I need to see what's in it. Mimble: Well, we haven't seen him for years. And you could be just anyone. Siph: That's nonsense. I demand to see his vault! Mimble: Nothing to do I'm afraid.
Siph couldn't believe it. This long and hard travel and they had to stop because of a goblin?! Mimble stepped closer to Siph.
Mimble (whispers): There is one way though. But you can't tell anyone. Siph (whispers): How?! Mimble (whispers while looking around): If you pay me 300 gold pieces I can let you see it for 5 minutes.
Siph got furious. Those filthy goblins and their looking for gold.
Siph: WHAT?! 300 GOLD PIECES! YOU MUST BE INSANE!
Mimble: Ssshh!! Well, if you don't want to see it, nevermind then!
Siph turned around and looked at Emerane. She looked down to his belt where his sword was hanging from. She quickly grabbed it and swiftly turned around, swang it, but stopped right before it hit his throat. Her eyes was on fire.
Siph: Dunadain was my best friend, my lover, the man I was gonna marry. He wanted me to see the content of that vault! The content wasn't for him anymore. He placed it here for me! And I've travelled a very long distance to see what it was. So are you still gonna put me up with that bullshit that I can't see it. Because if you won't show it to me, I got no reason back to live, so taking you with me wouldn't mind me a thing!
Mimble, as well as Emerane, was very surprised by this. He looked into Siph's eyes but didn't see anything else but hatred. He started to freeze. He had never seen eyes like that, being that cold and careless. He made a very wise decision.
Mimble: I.. I'm so sorry.. I must... must've read wrong in the... ehm... journals... Let me take a closer look.
He found the journal again and looked back on Siph who handed the sword back to Emerane. He had never lied before, but he loved his life more than this simple lie.
Mimble: Oh, look here... it says that you are allowed one look into the vault. Siph: What I thought. And thank you good goblin. You won't regret it. Mimble: I hope not.
He showed them the vault and quickly found Dunadain's content and showed them to Siph and Emerane. A green glow shined on them. It was Dunadain's swords. They had a great green glow. There was a note attached to it. Siph took them and placed them in her belt. She detached the note and put it in her backpack. She turned around together with Emerane and left.
Mimble: I... I have to tell you... that you are no longer welcome in... Gadgetstan... Siph: No worries. We'll leave when the first sun light hit the sand. Mimble: Ehrm... okay...
They went outside the bank and headed for the inn.
Emerane: You sure can be an angry woman. Siph: I hate goblins. They're only thinking of profit and how to increase it. Emerane: But goblins can be good allies too. Siph: They are only neutral because they then can profit from both sides. Emerane: Okay, new subject I suppose. What did the note say. Siph: I'll take a look when we get to the others. Emerane: Fair enough.
Emerane got a bit afraid of the angry woman walking beside him, and he was glad he was born a night elf and not an orc. The reached the inn where the others were merrily drinking and eating.
Elusit: Come join us. Food and ale to everyone. Oh, they didn't have any herb tea, but what about some Moonberry Juice? Siph: Can do, mate! Elusit: Great, now feast with us.
And so they drank and ate until the late hours. They went to their rooms and all but Siph fell asleep. She read the short note over and over again. It was written with an almost unreadable hand writing and the sentense almost didn't make sense. This was a bad sign. She knew it.
"Search evil south evil dwelling meorb the caves save me evil feel murder"

Mustski: There's an altar in the middle just like in the other room. Guess it works in the same way then. Shortbread: So better not touch it before we are ready then Mustski: Aye, let's make a plan for this one. Always be prepared my old master always said. Dementhia: I think I just have to watch on this one. They don't seem to take much damage from my blades. Mustski: Yeah, you're right there. I think I'm too excausted to do call mother nature again. Shortbread: Well... I might have a trick up the sleeve. But I might have to admit that I need the help from our mighty warlock. Ballcoth: Oh, really?! Shortbread: Yeah, if I'm not mistaken you should be able to fire up this place pretty good. Ballcoth (with a glimpse in his eye): You seem to know a bit about warlocks Shortbread: Let's just say I know a thing or two. Anyway. It seems like those golems don't like the one who touches the altar. Mustski: Yeah, they're some kind of keepers. Shortbread: Aye, but here's my plan...
They discussed it all through and agreed on the plan. Dementhia went to the altar and jumped ontop of it. The battle for the 5th fragment began.
Meanwhile in the deserts of Tanaris.
Umehim: God, this desert is nasty. Siph: I agree with you on that one. I always hated deserts.
Emerane who was 50 yards ahead of them stood on the top of a big sand hill. He turned around and yelled to them
Emerane: Quick, come here! You need to see this!
They all quickly ran to him and they were all surprised by what their eyes showed them. They saw into some kind of valley, but the sand looked kinda corupted. There was some kind of huge bugs everywhere they looked.
Emerane: This place don't seem nice. Are you sure this is where we have to search? Siph: Well, the note said south in a cave. And if my eyes don't betray me, there's nothing but mountains in the horizon. So guess this should be the place. Ignamar: I hate bugs. Especielly huge monster bugs. I hate them as much as you hate the desert I think. Elusit: Look over there!
They all looked in the direction Elusit pointed.
Siph: Looks like a cave entrance of some kind. Emerane: If I'm not mistaken I think that's a hive more than a cave! It must be filled with those bugs... Siph: Yeah, but we have to start somewhere. Ignamar (sighs): I hate bugs! Emerane: I found this dagger too. Think it must've been some unlucky adventurer who got too close to the infestion that lost it.
He handed it to Siph who placed it in her belt.
Siph: You never know if it's gonna become handy.
They all carefully started to walk towards the entrance. They tried not to attract as many bugs as possible. They quickly reached it, and even though Ignamar moaned alot they went inside.
Ballcoth said something in demonish when the golems started to wake up and all turned towards Dementhia who ran to the corner farest away from the rest of the group. Shortbread said some formulars he didn't use that often and all of a sudden it started to rain with icicles. All the ice hammered down upon the golems who took great damage from them, but they didn't go down that easy. Shortbread quickly blinked so he landed in the middle of the group of golems. He created a frost nova that froze all the golems legs, so they couldn't move. Endy made a protective shield around him, while Shortbread started to do something that really impressed the party. He used all his arcane will to create some great magic explosions around him. Many of the golems shattered around him, and their numbers was decreased greatly, but alot of them was still left. When he was too excausted to continue he yelled to Ballcoth:
Shortbread (yelling): NOW, FINISH THEM!
Ballcoth said something none of them could understand and it started to rain with fire balls above the golems. The rest was taken down quickly.
Shortbread (yelling): NOW FOR THE BIG BUGGER!!
The last and be biggest of the golems wasn't fully alive yet, but they could all feel it was close. Shortbread created a whirlwind-like storm around him that recharged his powers. Mustski
transformed into a bear and when the golems started to walk, Mustski charged at him, roared and hit it as much as he could. The golems attension was caught. It seemed like their plan worked. Mustski could with ease dodge all the golems attacks. Ballcoth fired a shadowbolt at the golem and hit it right in it's chest. But it did surprisingly lesser damage than he thought it would.
Ballcoth (yelling): THIS ONE IS MADE OF ANOTHER MATERIAL THAN THE OTHERS! Shortbread (yelling): LET ME TRY!
Shortbread fired both some ice bolts and fireballs at the golem, but didn't do alot damage either. He got more and more angry and concentrated on a huge fireball which he fired at the golem. It hit it's arm that broke off. Endy got scared because they didn't seem to do enough damage on it. He created a protective shield around Mustski because he started to seem tired. When he did that the golem turned around and went straight for him. With it's remaining arm it smashed Endy against the wall, who fell down, unconcious. Mustski regained his normal form and yelled
Mustski: Ballcoth, Shortbread, use all your powers and fire the greatest spell you know against the head of that golem. On the count of three!
They all started to charge their energies.
Mustski: 1... 2... 3!!!!
They all fired at once and all the magicical damage that was blasted against the golems head was too much for it and it exploded. The big door opened. Mustski ran to Endy.
Mustski: Endy, are you okay?
No answer. Mustski shook Endy.
Mustski: Endy, say something!
The others quickly gathered around him, but Mustski's face didn't look pleased.
Mustski: He isn't breathing. Shortbread: Is he... is he... Mustski: Yeah, he is dead. May the gods take good care of him. Ballcoth: But... this can't be true... Mustski: I'm afraid so.
Mustski's voice was filled with sorrow. He might have felt excausted in the room before, but the loss of a great friend like Endy was simply too much. Shortbread was very close to drop a tear, but managed to keep it in his eye. But all of a sudden Ballcoth started to move Endy's corpse.
Ballcoth: Quickly, help me place his body so he is lying properly on the floor. QUICK!
They didn't understand what he was doing, but helped him out, because he looked very excited.
Shortbread: What the hell are you doing, lock? We just lost a great friend and all you are thinking of is how he is lying?! Ballcoth: Stop calling me lock! And we might not have lost him completely. Mustski: What are you talking about? He isn't breathing, he's dead! Gone! Ballcoth: Just watch!
Ballcoth showed them something he had in his hand. It was a small orb that glowed with a strange color they hadn't seen before. He started to say something they didn't understand while he stood above Endy's body. He hold the orb above his head, and looked down. When he was done he smashed it against the floor just above Endy's head. Endy's eyes opened. Mustski jumped up
Mustski: What in the name of our mother is happening?! Endy: What... what... happend? Ballcoth: You died. Endy: Am I... dead? Ballcoth: Far from. SHortbread: I... what... how...?
Noone, but Dementhia and Ballcoth, understood what just happend. They all looked at Ballcoth who hugged Endy, who was clearly as surprised as the others.
Ballcoth: Don't you ever die again, stupid little dwarf! Endy: I'll try not to... I guess Shortbread: Now, someone, explain! Ballcoth: Before the fight I enchanted a shard, so if something would happen to Endy it would capture his soul. Shortbread: A soulstone? Ballcoth: Correct! I just had a bad feeling something would happen, so I quickly did it before Demethia activated the altar. Mustski: You impresses me more and more, Ballcoth. Ballcoth: Thanks. You guys impresses me too. We are born to do great things. Endy: Ow. My back hurts like hell. Shortbread: Quite a flight you took there by the way, so no wonder.
They helped Endy on his feet, and when they all were ready they entered the next room. It was filled with treassure and Demethia's eyes fired all up. So much gold and chests around. she was in heaven. But in the right side of the room was a big chest placed.
Mustski: Can you open that one, Dementhia? I looks likes it's sealed shut. Dementhia: I'll try.
She kneeled down in front of the chest and found her tools and started to work on the lock.
Siph placed her sword in the head of the big tunnel digger bug that surprised them. Ignamar wasn't in a good mood. He didn't like this place, especielly the big bugs who seemed to be everywhere they went. The big cocoons glowed vaguely on the walls round them.
Siph: I got a strong feeling we have to go right down here
She point down the tunnel.
Ignamar: Okay, let's move so we can get out in the open again!
They went down the tunnel. But all of a sudden Siph got a weird feeling. She started to run. She turned right and continued down another tunnel.
Umehim: Wait for us!
But she just continued. She came to a big another tunnel and turned left. The others tried to keep up, but she was simply too fast. At last she came to a place where there was no cocoons on the wall. The walls started to look more and more normal, like the bugs didn't dare to go further. She continued until she reached a big cave. In the middle of the cave a body was placed and it had shape of a nightelf.
Dementhia: There! It's open!
Mustski opened the chest and found what he was looking for. The 5th fragment. He bow down to pick it up but when he touched it, his mind filled with images. Images of a slaughter. Nightelfs falling. And two nightelfs hugging each other. Blood everywhere. He lost the fragment and the images dissapeared.
Mustski: I think Siph is in grave danger!
Dunadain: Siph... Siph: Dunadain, I finally found you!
She ran to him and hugged him.
Dunadain: Quickly, give me back my swords. Siph: Sure, but why?
She handed them to him.
Dunadain: And my bow, and some arrows... Siph: What is happening?
She gave him that aswell.
Dunadain: I have to punish the ones who cursed me! Siph: Who did that?
In the meantime the others entered the cave.
Dunadain: The ones who just entered this cave. My revenge shall be great!
He took aim at Umehim.
Siph: What are you doing? Stop it! Dunadain: I placed the hints so you would show up, and bring me the ones who cursed me. Umehim and the others brought this curse on me, but now I will get my revenge.
Siph was confused but didn't do anything.
Umehim: What is this nonsense? We promised to help you, and this is the thank? Dunadain: You always wanted to get rid of me, because I was better than you. But now the table has turned!
He let go of the arrow that flew through the air and went into Umehim's troat.
Elusit: NO! What are you doing?!
Emerane quickly charged at Dunadain, but he made a quick move with his hand towards Emerane who flew backwards into the stone wall and got knocked unconcious.
Dunadain: Haha, Maimau! As you see, my powers has greatly improved!
Ignamar swang his swords against Dunadain, but he was too quick and dodged it. He swang his own sword and cut of Ignamars right hand. Ignamar screamed his lungs out.
Elusit: For the love of the gods! You are crazy!
Dunadain quickly went towards Elusit. Siph was paralyzed by the slaughter. She couldn't believe what was happening. Elusit transformed into a panther and stealthed.
Dunadain: Haha, you think you can hide from me, old fool?!
He turned around and swang his sword towards the air, but blood appeared in the middle of the air and the panther appeared. It transformed back into Elusit who had a nasty cut in his stomach. There was blood everywhere on the ground. Siph mind started to work again and she looked up. Dunadain went towards her.
Dunadain: Now we are finally alone. You need to show me where the other parts of the orb are. I really need them to remove this curse that's called upon me.
Siph looked at him with tears in her eyes.
Dunadain: Maimau and the others just wanted to keep the orb, but they got jaloux of me, becaues I was the one who found it. Now I just need the other pieces!
Maimau? Siph just realized now. He called Emerane for Maimau. Dunadain hugged Siph and hold her close to him.
Siph: You are not my Duna! Dunadain: Come on, baby. It's still me! Siph: Maimau has been dead for years!
Dunadain felt a sting in his back. He walked a step backwards and his eyes looked like it hurt. He tried to reach to his back, to see what just happend. A dagger was sitting there, just where he couldn't reach it. Siph was crying even more now. She just had to do it. There was nothing left of the real Dunadain anymore, there was nothing left but this monster that just slaughtered her new friends.
Siph (whispering): I'm sorry!
Dunadain fell on his knees. He was sitting like this for a couple of second until he fell down to the ground. He didn't move. His chest stopped moving up and down. Siph cried more and hid her face in her hands. But all of a sudden she felt like the world stopped. She looked up and saw a big bright light coming from above Dunadains corpse. An wisp was hovering above the body.
Spirit of Dunadain: Thank you Siph, finally my spirit is free! Siph: I'm so sorry. But I had to kill you. Spirit: No worries my love. YOu did the right thing. The fragment corupted me. For years I've been trapped in this body. Only the evil fragment was left in my mind. Siph: I don't understand. None of the other fragments has been that powerful so they would take place in their carrier. Spirit: The other fragements are only the outer part of the orb. This one though, is very center of the orb. The core! Siph: What is this thing? Spirit: It's a shadow orb. Very little is known about this artifact, but one thing is for sure. One of it's little known properties is that it will drive the bearer to pursue a goal to the point of madness. You couldn't do anything to help me. Siph: What should I do with it? Spirit: You can't keep it. Noone can. You have to either destroy it or place it somewhere where noone will ever find it! Siph: BUt... I can't carry this. If you couldn't, why should I could? Spirit: You got very powerful friends. More powerful than you think.
All of a sudden she saw a picture in her head. It was back in the oasis in front of the cavern where Ballcoth ran with the first orb. Endy was kneeling above her, saying a prayer while she was asleep. That was what woke her that night.
Spirit: Your friend said a protective prayer for you that night. He can keep the mad voice from the core out of your head. But not forever. YOu have to unite with your friends again. Only together the five of you will succeed! Siph: But how do I get out of here? I can't take all the bugs out there by myself. Everyone in here is dead. Spirit: Well, I think he would say something like: "The eyes can fool even the best. To see beyond is really the test". But you must go now. Very little time is left for you to complete your quest. Even the enemy has started moving now. They know of the orb, and are searching for it now. Siph: But I don't know where the others are! Spirit: But they know where you are! Now go, before it's too late!
The light faded and she felt like the world started again. She picked up Dunadains swords, the bow and the core. She checked all the guys but they were all dead. But when she touched Emerane he moaned something.
Siph: Emerane, are you still with me? Emerane: Aww. My body aches, but I'm afraid I'm still alive. Siph: I'm so glad you are still with me. Emerane: I hope you don't have more boyfriends I should know of. Siph (laughing): Nah, Dunadain was the only one. May he rest in peace. Emerane: It's good to hear your laughter, even though I'm sorry what happend to him. Siph: I really loved him, and it still aches that he is dead, but I guess he has been for years. Now, we must move on. We're giving very little time. Emerane: Where to? Siph: We can't turn back to Gadgetstan, but I got a strong feeling we have to go to Un'goro crate next! Emerane: I'll try and help as much as I'm capable of.
They both got on their feet and started to move. Siph looked over her shoulder once and looked at her old boyfriend. She could feel the core tried to talk to her, but one feeling was greater that the voices. She was very unhappy inside because of what she had to do. But she had to do it because of this feeling. Love.
Mustski was glad finally to breathe the air again. They all stood outside in the setting sun. Shortbread was stretching his back and filled his lungs with air. Ballcoth stood with the fragment and his mind was filled with thoughts.
Mustski: What can you tell us, Ballcoth? Ballcoth: It's very weird. I don't even have to examine this fragment to tell you where we should go. Shortbread: How's that? Ballcoth: I don't know. Think something woke all the fragments up. They are all kinda speaking to me. In some weird way. Mustski: I know. I can feel it too. The pieces wants to find each other. I think Siph has found the strongest part of the fragments. Endy: Do you think she's still alive? Mustski: Yeah, I think she is. I can somehow sense her. Think it might be the fragments that's talking to me. Endy: Devilsaurs! Mustski: Aye, I sense it too. Next stop: Un'goro Crater!

His eyes opened and he found himself siting on an armchair in the middle of a sinister room. It wasn’t an ordinary chair, this one was ornamented with jewels and other precious gems that made it look like a throne. He now looked around the room and saw many demonic creatures. Two of them were Felguards, and seemed to be guarding him; Nalmir was on the floor kneeled, he was holding a very big mirror above his head. The mirror had a hipnotic aura; it had something that he wanted to see, to touch to feel. He walked trough the room and as he got closer and closer to the mirror he began to see a picture of a monster. It had long dark wings streaching from his back, his face wasn’t humanlike and although it had eyes, they had a pestid green glow that contrasted with his face’s black skin in such a manner that made him shiver. He could barely recognize himself, but he kept looking into the mirror were now an image of a torture chamber was displayed. He saw a someone on one of the machines, he looked closer and recongised Endy. It seemed that the Dwarf possed something that these demons wanted...something that HE wanted. Endy screamed his lungs out while he watched silently. His one true friend being tortured was simply too much for him to bear; he closed his eyes and sat on the floor before Nalmir.
Ballcoth: What...Is this place? Is this me? Nalmir: It could be.
As he opened his eyes he didn’t saw Nalmir, instead he saw a vision of himself in his Human form.
Ballcoth: What have I become! *He felt the cold sweat droping from his forehead* Vision: This is what you always wanted! This is the power you seeked for ages, it is yours by right...take it. Ballcoth: No, I can’t. Not like this. Vison: You always wanted it. You still want it, I can feel the need for it inside your soul. This is the way... take it. Ballcoth: ... *He crashed his head against his hands* Vision: TAKE IT. *He yelled* Vision: I command you to take it. Ballcoth: I’m free * He rose from the grown* Ballcoth: I won’t accept this deal. I have found friendship amongst those I most despised. They have given me something I almost forgot existed. Vision: You weak pathetic fool. That’s what you have always been. You trully beleive these “Friends” care for you. Haven’t you learned nothing, don’t you remember your magi “friends”? Ballcoth: SHUT UP, I’m tired of this madness let me get out. Vision: I’m afraid that’s impossible, you see I own your mind. Ballcoth: We’ll see about that you bastard!
He started to cast a Sadowbolt but the floor bellow him opened and he fell into the deep.
*You are my minion Ballcoth. I missjudged you, your too weak for a pet, I’m afraid I’ll have to find somebody else to do my biding, meanwhile I’ll make you suffer for this denial*
While he fell his mind was haunted by his worst fears and nightmares. The fall wasn’t endless but his mind colapsed before he it the floor.
He woke up and quicly ran to the mirror. He didn’t have a beutiful sight, but at least it was Him. His face was pale and his body was all sweaty. He picked up a cup of water but he let it fall down, only then he realised he was still shivering.
*You’r my pet*
Once again Ballcoth decided to drown his toughts with a mug of Vodka...well maybe a bottle this time. He dressed up and went downstairs to the inn’s bartender. He sat before him and made his order, when Dementhia came to him.
Dementhia: Aughh *Sleepy look* Already drinking? From what I remember you only used to drink at night. Ballcoth: People change. Where are the others? Dementhia: Mustski and Endy didn’t come down yet. I guess we all needed some rest. Ballcoth: I guess so...What about Short? Dementhia: He just left, I think he needed to buy something, but I didn’t understand what he said. Ballcoth: Have you been awake for long? Dementhia: No, not really Ballcoth: Do you want to drink something? Dementhia: Yeah, I could use some Thistle Tea to wake up. Hey look Endy is coming downstairs.
And apparently he was arguing with Mustski about the Inns of Ironforge.
Mustski: All I’m saying is that the Inns here are very sultry. Endy: Ohh really? At least here you don’t have rain falling on your head while you sleep, like in Darnassus. Besides renting a room there is way to expensive. Mustski: A litle rain never killed anyone, and at least you can breath while you sleep. Here the only fresh air we have is the smoke coming from the fireplace. Endy: You’r a lost case lad.
The team packed up all their belongings and bought the necessary for the trip; like food, water, bandages, potions and of course Vodka and Ale. When they were about to leave the Inn, Shortbread arived.
Ballcoth: Late as always! Shortbread: Ok, I know I’m late but it was worth it. Mustski: I don’t see any changes to your hair Short! Endy: Your beard looks the same to me lad. Shortbread: Stop fooling around guys. Today I had this idea to make our journey faster so I went to a friend of mine. Ballcoth: And the point is?
Shortbread picked up a rune from his pocket and casted a strange spell that made a door of light appear in the middle of the Inn.
Shortbread: Surprised? *He said with a smile on his face* Ballcoth: Not particularly! This is the portal to Darnassus? Shortbread:Yes. Dementhia: But...Wouldn’t it be faster to take the boat to Theramoore and from there trough Tanaris to Un’Goro? Shortbread: The Boat takes to much time to cross the sea. Besides from Darnassus we can take the Griphon to Nijel’s Point in Desolace. We can be in Feralas Even today. Endy: You’ve convinced me* He said as he crossed the portal*
Mustki followed Endy and Dementhia went right after him.
Ballcoth: You go first! Shortbread: As you wish* He crossed as he made that irritating laugh* Ballcoth: Here goes nothing...
The dry hot desert had given place to a more humid and green enviroment. The air was extremely heavy and the Sunlight could barely lighten the area, it was a typical tropical climate.
Siph: What weird place this is, flowers walking along with stone giants. Emerane: They are harmless, unless you attack them. Siph: You’ve been here before? Emerane: Yes. This place can be quite confusing, once can get lost here very easily. Siph: What do you suggest? Emerane: We should head towards Marshal’s Refudge North-west of here. From there I know I can’t get lost, it’s like a reference point.
As they walked trough the jungle they started to notice an increasing population of Dinassaurs. They walked faar away from them to avoid confrontation. But eventually the attack couldn’t be dealyed any further.
Emerane: Stay back I can hold them * He yelled*

But he couldn't...
He fought off a raptor, but as soon as it fell, another showed up. And then again another. Siph was standing in the background trying to aim, but Emerane was all over the place, so she couldn't find a clear line of fire. She whistled loud.
Emerane's sword cut through the throat of another raptor but he didn't see the one coming from the side. It sank it's teeth in his right leg. He screamed in agony. Siph aimed an shot the raptor right in the eye. She pulled another arrow and aimed. Emerane fell and another raptor was on him right away. Siph killed it right away with another well placed shot. But two more raptors were on their way towards him.
But then a big lion jumped out of the bushes and sank it's teeth and claws in the raptors neck. Siph head shotted the other raptor. A few more tried to get to them, but were killed off fast. The rest of them understood they were out powered and quickly left.
Siph ran to Emerane.
Siph: Em! Are you alright? Emerane: My leg. It's hurts like mad.
He looked down and saw the wound the raptor had created.
Emerane: Aaww.. Siph: Sit still, this will hurt a bit.
She quickly found some cloth she had in her bag, and made a bandage to stop the bleeding. When she was done, she turned to her cat and threw a big piece of meat from her bag.
Siph: Good boy!
She turned towards Emerane.
Siph: Now, if you guide me I'll try to get you to Marshalls Refugee.
She helped him on his feet and supported him.
Siph: Let's move!
They went north west, while Siph was half carrying Emerane. Their speed was decreased greatly, but they managed to keep going until they reached a river.
Emerane: We have to cross this! Siph: Wait here, I'll check how deep it is.
She sat Emerane down, who checked the bandage. Siph jumped into the river to check if it was possible to walk cross it. Luckily there was a spot where it wasn't that deep. She returned to Emerane.
Emerane: I think we need to change the bandage. It looks like it've bleeded through. Siph: Yeah, sure looks nasty. Let's have a look.
She changed the bandage while Emerane was eating a banana. When they were both done the completed. She helped him cross the river, and they continued towards the camp.
They came to an area filled with tar pits. Alot of tar creatures where roaming here, but Siph managed to guide them through the area without any confrontations.
Emerane: It's just up that hill! Siph: Good! I don't know how much further I can carry you.
They reached the hill top and came to the camp. Siph saw goblins was running the camp.
Siph: Ah man... Goblins. Emerane: They are quiet friendly here, so no worries. Try not to upset them. Siph: yeah, yeah, I'll try. I think you need to get to a real doctor. The wound doesn't look good. Emerane: I agree with you. That raptor sure could bite. Siph: Let's get you on a gryphon out of here. Emerane: Are you sure? Siph: Yeah, I can handle myself. Besides, if Dunadain was right, the others should be on their way by now. Emerane: As you wish, my lady. I hope we'll meet again! Siph: We will! I'm sure. When all this is over I'll return to Stormwind. So feel free to drop by. Emerane: In stormwind? Siph: Yeah, I quiet found it cozy around the humans. Emerane: Haha, an elf among humans. Oh well. Let's find a gryphon.
They both went to the flight master and Emerane was put on a bird towards Theramore. They both said goodbye to each other, and Emerane flew off.
Siph went back down and asked the nearest goblin.
Siph: Is there somewhere I can get a bed? Goblin: Out here? Haha, you must be kidding. The only place to sleep here is on the grass. So find yourself a spot and knock yourself out.
Siph went up a hill and found her a cozy little spot. She made Salem guard the place while she took herself a well earned rest. She hoped the others would arrive very soon. She could somehow feel that the orb tried harder to speak to her. But she tried to hold the voices out.
Now finally alone she started to think about Dunadain. She put her head in her hands and cried. She cried until she fell asleep.

At night fall five people arrives at the inn at Gadgetstan.
Endy: I can't believe we got here so fast. Good idea with the the portal, Shortbread. Shortbread: I bought some extra runes if we have to leave in a hurry. So just let me know.
Mustski turned to the inn keeper.
Mustski: Hello, good man, do you have a room for a druid and his three companions? Innkeeper: Rooms are no problem, but we are a bit busy tonight, so if you want food, you'll have to wait a while. Mustski: Rooms would be great. Anything special happening since you are in such a hurry? Innkeeper: Well, it's kinda weird. We've experienced alot of scourge attacks lately. Which we've never experienced before. Mustski: Oh, I see. That explains the extra guards at the entrance. Innkeeper: Yeah, and extra guards requirer more food. Mustski: Aye, oh, just let us get our rooms, and we won't disturb anymore.
They all went straight to bed. They knew they had a long day before them, and it would requirer their full strength.
It's very dark. The darkness is so thick that she can't see anything - so dark that it doesn't matter if her eyes are opened or closed. But she can sense the grass under her naked feets. She walks. But where to?
Dunadain (whispers): You killed me.
She tries to look in the direction the voice came from. But can't see anything.
Dunadain (whispers): Why did you kill me? Siph (yells): Where are you?!
She walks around, trying to find Dunadain.
Dunadain (whispers): I thought you love me... Siph (yells): But I do. But you were dead inside!
She starts to run, but she somehow feels she don't get anywhere.
Dunadain (whispers): The eye!! The eye!! The eye!!
The feeling of grass changes to something else. Something more sticky. She can't move anymore. Is it tar? or quicksand? She hears a big roar and sense a big set of teeth coming towards her. She don't know who the teeth belongs to, she can just sense the big set of jaws that are about to close around her. The feeling of the stickyness now surrounds her feet. A high sound of a bell ringing suddenly occours. The feeling of instant death and high sounds is getting too much and she...
... screams loudly and opens her eyes. She looks confused around, but the only thing that's around her is Salem who is looking scared at her. But the rining bell sound is still there. She can hear the goblins yelling something, but in moment of confusing she don't understand anything. She looks around and realizes she is at the camp in Un'goro. It must be morning now. Someone yells again.
Goblin (yells): DEVILSAUR!! ALL HELP TO DEFEND OUR BASECAMP!
A goblin is running past her towards the hill next to the entrance to the camp.
Goblin: Quick, pick up your weapons, hunter. A devilsaur is attacking our camp!
She jumps up and runs after him. When she arrives at the hill she can see a huge dinasaur. She have never before seen such a big creature. The devilsaur is shaking a tar pit lord in it's great jaws. The goblins around her is aiming with their bows and shoots at it, but the thick skin of the devilsaur makes the arrows do little damage. She is aiming towards it's throat and shoots. She hits it, but the arrow doesn't do any damage. The devilsaur drops the tar pit lord and roars at the crowd gathering on the hills.
Siph (in her mind): The eye!
She aims again. She blocks every unnessecary impressions out. Complete silence surrounds her mind. She only see the eye of the devilsaur. Aiming. She can hear the wind blowing. She breathes in, holds her breath. Her heartbeat sounds very steady. She lets the arrow fly. It hits.
Siph: Bullseye!
The devilsaur roars in agony. It roars again and again, but then starts to charge the hill.
Goblin (yells): NOOOO!! WHO DID THAT!! Another goblin: The heart! It got a soft spot near the heart!
Siph is confused. She quickly reaches another arrows, aims towards the heart of the devilsaur but misses. Further down the slope a dwarf hunter is taking aim. Siph reaches another arrow. The dwarf shoots. Siph aims, but sees an arrow hit the chest of the devilsaur, and it sinks over halfway through the chest. The devilsaur stops, roars, and falls. Everyone is running for their lives now. But Siph is just staning there paralyzed. Someone is pulling her to the side. The devilsaur hits the ground with a loud sound.
Goblin: What the hell were you doing?! Shooting a devilsaurs eyes out just makes them more enraged! Siph: I thought tha... Goblin: Yeah, I bet you do. Now get out of my sight, you pity me.
All goblins and other people at the camp is running to the dwarf hunter and celebrates him. Siph's mind is now exploding in feelings. Sorrow, sadness, tiredness, anger, confusion. She can't hold her tears back. She sits down in the grass and hides her face in her hands. Salem is walking to her, and puts his head in Siph's lab. But she don't notice. She just cries as the sun reaches the point where it's visible and the first sunlight hits the earth. It's hard to see in Un'goro because of the high trees blocking much of the sunlight out. But not that far away in Tanaris, someone can see the light.
He senses he is in a cave. But the darkness surrounding him, doesn't let him see anything. He can just sense something pulsing near him. Ballcoth tries to ligth the place up with a fire spell, put nothing happens. All of a sudden he can see Siph. She is walking around in the cave. He tries to yell at her, but he can't. It's like he's in a paladins bubble that won't allow anything to get through. So he decides to just watch.
Siph walks around, finally finds what she if searching. He can't see the surroundings, he can only see Siph. The lighting on her is weird. Blue, red, yellow and green light is shining on her. But he can't see where it comes from. She sits down. She picks something up, and as she holds it in her hands, he can see what it is. It's another fragment.
Siph: I can't take this anymore. I simply can't.
Ballcoth is trying to ask her what she is talking about, but nothing happens.
Siph: It's too powerful for me to handle. I'm sorry!
She pulls out a dagger and stabs herself in the stomach.
Ballcoth (yells): NOOOOO!
He wakes up all sweaty.
Ballcoth (whispering): Damn, I'm tired of waking up in inns because of nightmares!
He puts on his clothes and walks upstairs to the innkeeper.
Ballcoth: I'd like to order a bottle of... Innkeeper: Yeah? Ballcoth: Ehm... Nevermind. Do you have some water? On a bottle? Innkeeper: Well, sure. I got some directly imported from the springs of Un'goro. Ballcoth: Water is water. I'll take it.
He hands Ballcoth a bottle filled with water. Ballcoth leaves the inn and walks around in Gadgetstan. Why did he all of a sudden choose water? Well, vodka in the morning is after all a bad habbit. But he never cared about habbits before. Something he could sense, maybe? On the other side of the little town there was a hill. He went to the hill and sat down, drinking the water. He thought alot about the dream.
When the first sunlight hit his face another person came and joined him on the hill.
Endy: Hey, mate Ballcoth: Morning, Endy Endy: You can't sleep either I see. Ballcoth: Nah, guess I'm starting to become a morning person. Endy: I had a nightmare. Ballcoth: Oh? Want to talk about it? Endy: well, it was about Siph. Ballcoth: What about her? Endy: It's kind of weird. I couldn't really see anything. But I somehow sensed she was in a cave. Ballcoth: Are you kidding me? Endy: No, not at all. She finds something in there. Ballcoth: Are you using some kind of mindtrick on me? Endy: No, I don't! Why? Ballcoth: Because she ends killing herself in that dream!
Endy is looking weird at him. Did he really say that?
Endy: Yeah, she does. But how did you know? Ballcoth: I had the same dream. Endy: ReallY? How odd...
They sat in silence for a while, thinking about the dream.
Endy: So... could you see where she was? Ballcoth: No, I could only sense it was in a cave. Endy: Hhmm... yeah, the darkness is sure surrounding things. Mustski (who stands behind them now): It's the orbs.
They both jumps scared in the air.
Ballcoth: Never do that again, druid, if you love your life! Mustski: Haha, sorry guys. Endy: You sure scared me there. What do you mean. The orb? Mustski: The orb is clouding our minds. It only lets us see what it wants us to see. But you can still sense the cave. Because the orb don't have enough power of us yet. We are still strong, but I think it's just a matter of time. Endy: Well, skip breakfast and get to Un'goro fast then? Mustski: Sounds like a good plan. We can talk the dream over while we ride. Ballcoth: Ride? Mustski: Yeah, I found a nice horse salesman who had a horse to spare. Thought Dementhia and Shortbread could share that one. You can summon your dreadsteed and Endy can ride together with you. I got my feets. Endy: Let's move then!
They walk back to the inn to get the others. Dementhia is sitting at a table eating. Shortbread is walking towards then while he is stretching.
Shortbread: Oh, I had the worst nightmare this night. I dreamt about Siph. Ballcoth: Who was in a cave and killed herself. Shortbread: How did you know? Endy: We all had that dream.
Dementhia looks up on them.
Dementhia: I didn't! Endy: Oh? That's weird. Mustski: Indeed it is, but now let's pack our things and get moving! We are in a hurry SHortbread: What? Now breakfast? But I'm starving! I won't make it through the day without at least a little meal. Endy: I think I got some bread in my bag you can have, but for now, we have to move! Shortbread: You guys are killing me!
They packed their things and headed north east towards Un'goro.

Voice: Siph?
Siph was confused. Where was she?
Voice: Siph?!
She tried to open her eyes. The bright light made her hold her hand above her eyes. Had she been asleep.
Voice: Good to see you are alive.
It was a squeky little voice. She knew who it was, but couldn't yet place it. She opened her eyes a little more and saw a little gnome looking at her.
Siph: Shorty? Shortbread: Yeah, Siph, are you okay? You look very pale. Mustski: She looks a little dazed. Siph: Sorry, I suppose I fell asleep. Ballcoth: You look like shit, to be honest. Sorry darling.
Siph looked up at Ballcoth and then jumped up and draw her swords.
Siph: What are you doing together with that traitor?!
She swang her sword towards Ballcoth, but got parried by another sword. Siph turned her head to see who did that and saw a woman standing next to her.
Siph: How dare you?! Dementhia: No one hurts my brother while I'm around.
Siph swang her other sword but was again parried by Dementhia. They started to fight. The sound of metal against metal was flying through the air.
Mustski: SIPH! STOP IT!!
But she didn't.
Mustski: For the love of your gods! STOP!
She swang her swords again and again until Endy pulled Siph backwards and Shortbread made a quick frost spell that froze her feet to the ground. Dementhia was about to jump against her, when the roots in the ground grabbed her feets so she couldn't move.
Mustski: Ladies!! Lay your weapons or you'll have to stand there all day, and I personally wouldn't matter let you stand there all week. So put those away and start listening to me!
Siph looked at Dementhia with anger, turned her head towards Ballcoth. Her eyes was still filled with anger, until she turned her head towards Mustski that was looking sad at her. Dementhia put her swords down.
Mustski: Siph, now's your turn.
She looked at him and saw his troubled face. She decided to listen to him and put her weapons away too.
Mustski: Ballcoth has helped us alot on our journey. It wasn't actually him who ran away with the orb. It was the orb that convinced him to! Just like you aren't quiet yourself at the moment. Siph: What are you talking about, I'm just fine! Mustski: No you are not. The orb you found might be the strongest of them all, and it already has a great influence of your mind. Had any dreams or voices lately that told you what to do?
Siph remembered the voice telling her to shoot after the eye of the devilsaur.
Siph: NO! I'm fine! Mustski: Just listen to yourself.
Mustski was shaking his head, and you didn't have to be a psysic to see his mind was troubled. Mustski: You have to accept that Ballcoth and Dementhia is helping us. We need every man power we can use. I got a feeling that the last pieces won't be that easy to find and even to get hold off. Great danger awaits us. And when we got them all, what do we then do with it? Siph: We could start with getting rid of those filthy traitors who stands amongst us! Mustski: Enough! Siph: And when we are done, we'll take over the world, and eradicates all the orcs, trolls, taurans and undeads. Even the scourge! And the nasty Goblins too. We could make sure our children had a decent future! We could... Mustski (shaking his head): The orb got further into your mind than I had hoped for. It is sad to see. Siph: But I...
Mustski said a quick formular and Siph fell asleep. Endy was looking scared at Mustski.
Endy: What the hell do we do with her?! Ballcoth: Even I wasn't that fucked up under the influence of the fragments. Mustski: Remember that our Siph is still in there somewhere. Endy, Siph will sleep for about an hour, maybe one and a half. Could you stay with her and say a prayer for her. Do some protective spells on her. We need her to at least think a little clearer! Endy: Aye, I will see what I can do! Mustski: Shortbread, stay with Endy and assist him with whatever he needs! SHortbread: Aye, great leader! Mustski: Dementhia and Ballcoth, you two comes with me. We have to talk with everyone here, to see if any has experienced anything that could have with the orb to do. Ballcoth: Sure, Musty! Mustski: ...and Dementhia. When Siph wakes up, try and behave! We need her! We need her badly! Dementhia: Sorry, Mustski, I'll do my best!
And so the next hour went on. Endy and Ballcoth was watching over Siph, trying everything they could think of, while the others searched for any answers they could find.
Siph was back in the dark surroundings. She couldn't see where she was. She could just feel the sticky stuff around her feets. Well, around her legs. She had sunken deeper into it. And she was still sinking deeper into it. She could feel it above her knees now. But the voice had stopped. Her head felt relaxed. She kind of felt that her feets were in hell but her head was in heaven. The darkness slowly took off, and more and more light came through. In the end she opened her eyes!
Endy: How do you feel? Siph: Weird. Shortbread: If you had the power of the Shadow orb... what would you then do? Siph: Ehrm... Destroy the orb I suppose. Endy: Really? Siph: The orb does only harm the wielder. Endy (whispering to Shortbread): I think it helped a little!
Shortbread nodded. he stood up and saw around the camp. Mustski was standing near a cave entrance and was talking to some goblin there.
Shortbread (yelling): Mustski! She is awake!
Mustski looked at him, made a gesture with his hand that meant "Be right there!". Then turned back to the goblin.
Endy gave Siph a cup for Moonberry Juice. She quickly drank it, and the colour slowly came back to her face.
Siph: Thanks. Endy: Just relaxe and get your strength back.
Mustski arrived together with Ballcoth and Dementhia.
Mustski: Good, are you feeling better? Siph: Yeah, I think so.
She looked at Ballcoth and Dementhia. Then turned her head down.
Siph: Sorry about before. Dementhia: No worries, I appologize too! Mustski: Good to see you are getting friends again. Now we got alot of catching up to do. I bet you want to hear what happened to us as much as we are interested in hearing your story.
Endy and Shortbread started to prepare a good big meal, while Mustski and Ballcoth told Siph everything that has happend. When they were done they all ate in silence. After the meal Siph told them about Emerane, the three merry elfs. About Dunadain and how she had to kill him. When she reached that part of the story, she started to cry again.
Siph: I simply had to kill him. He was cursed. Mustski: I know it was hard. It's a burden no one should ever bear. But you did the right thing. Dunadain has been dead for years. Siph: I know, but I can't keep from thinking that I could've been able to save him! Mustski: Dunadain couldn't be saved. The orb was controlling his mind and body. It tried to use you to get back together. And it still does I think. But you have to fight it. Siph: I'll try. I have to! Mustski: Good. You'll keep the core and Endy will carry the other pieces. We can't afford to let them be too close together. Endy: I got a question now! Mustski: Yeah, what's on your mind Endy? Endy: What now? Mustski: Good question. I think we have to stay here for tonight. Get a good nights sleep and recover and tomorrow we'll have to search the crater for the next piece. Endy: Okay, by the way. We have talked so much of the past. Now back to the present. Did you find out anything when you talked to the locals? Mustski: Not much. No one had ever heard or seen anything to any object that would fit on the description of the orb. Ballcoth: So we have to turn every stone in this area? Mustski: I'm afraid so. Shortbread: Damn, it will take forever! Not to mention that there's no decent bed around here. My clothes and hair will be messed all up! Endy: You and your outfit. Let's get the best out of it! Mustski: Agree, but they told me something interesting though. SHortbread: Oh? Mustski: There's a large number of different kind of crystals around here. And no one really know what the point with them is. Maybe it's some information we can use. Maybe it's nothing. Ballcoth: Only time will tell I suppose! Mustski: Aye, only time will tell! Endy: SOmething we don't a much of these days.
They all stayed at the camp, enjoyed a nice supper and then went to bed. Again Mustski, Shortbread, Endy and Ballcoth shared the same dream. It was the same dream like in Tanaris. Siph in some sort of cave. They couldn't make out what and where it was, but she was again lighten up by all kinds of colours. She said she couldn't take it anymore, and then stabs herself...
Siph was still in her dark surrounding where the stickyness still pulled her further and further down. It now had consumed her to the middle of her thighs.
Dementhia dreamt about a treasure hunt that involved alot of killing.
The next day they started their search in Un'goro crater.

*The sun attempted to shine trough the huge tree leafs and branches, but since they were so thick the light that filled the air was very green.*
When he woke up he noticed that neither Endy nor Shortbread were there anymore. He didn't bother waking the others, after all they all needed to rest, instead he tried to focus on the Nightmare he just had. The misterious Cave, the images of Siph killing herself and above all the unbearable feeling of powerlessness troubled his Spirit. He tried to picture it all in his mind, maybe this way he could find some clue, some tip any possible information would be welcome since they had nowhere to start looking. He concentrated on the dream again but this time he remembered a Previous Nightmare, and his head started to ache like if someone was bitting it.
* I Have to,stop thinking about this for a while or I'll become even more Fucked up than I am now. I could use a drink ... * He tought
He rose up and walked around the Camp he talked to a local vendor and bought a cup of Tea. It tasted terribilly bad but it also seemed to make the Headache go away so he picked up a little bottle of Gin that he always carried with him and droped a bit on the Tea.
Ballcoth: Ahh much better. Endy: Tea? Quited the hard drinking in the Morning aye !!? Ballcoth: Errr...Yeah it's bad for one's health *Said Ballcoth a bit surprised my Endy's sudden aproach*
*Moment of uncomfortable silence while they look at each other*
Ballcoth: So have you seen Shortbread? Endy: Aye. He woke up after me and went around here, I can't see him maybe he entered that cave over there. Ballcoth: Let's go check it out.
As they walked trough the cave they imidiately noticed the glowing cristals, and their resemblence to the dream. But since none of them wanted to bring that Up they kept on going.
*This reminds me of Home. The sweet humid scent mixed with the sound of...*
He aproached the nearest cristal and confirmed his suspicion. The cristal changed his Color and Glow from a vivid red to someting that resembled a Shadowbolt glowing.
Endy: It's the orb, isn't it? Ballcoth: Yes. But there's more to it I can feel this cristal's power it's conected to some kind of main source. Endy: This is indeed a strange and fascinating place, but we have greater tasks at hand. Look there is Shortbread, right over there.
As they aproached the Little Gnome they started to hear portions of his conversation ecoing trout the Cave. StrangeFemaleVoice: NO, I don't date horny little Gnomes *She yelled* Shortbread: But, I'm cute and I have a nice haircut and I'm also very bra....hey hello guys. *......*
Shortbread: Errr.. Meet, J.D. Collie. J.D. Collie: Pleasure to meet you all, now if you don't mind I have to get back to work. Ballcoth: Are you investigating these cristals? J.D. Collie: Yes, I can't help thinking they hold some great power but until now I didn't get many information. Perhaps you guys can help me out!!? If you bring me 7 Red Cristals 7 Yellow Crist... Endy: Whoa No stop, we would love to help but you caught us in the middle of something! * He rushed to say* Shortbread: Your wish is an order, I'm at your service Milady * He bowed * Ballcoth: No you'r not. Now Miss J.D. Collie you wouldn't happend to know about the some kind of Huge cristal of these around here would you? J.D. Collie: I was exploring the area around the camp a few days ago and I got carried away by the trhill of exploring, eventually I found a big cristal. It's South-west of here, and I'm pretty sure there are more of those and maybe they are all related somehow. I wanted to stay and study it but I had to run for my life since this place is filled with horrible creatures. Shortbread: I would never let those Foul creatures hurt you. Endy: Ohh well thanks anyway, we sould get going now. Ballcoth: Yes, Thank you for the information kind Lady. Shortbread: I'll visit you lovely. J.D. Collie: Don't bother, I won't be here!
As she opened her eyes she saw a Hawk standing on a Rock looking at her with an intrigued expression. She approached him slowly and talked gently so that he didn't get away. But the Hawk didn't seem interested and flew away to a nearby Rock but never stoped looking at her.
*Guess you just don't want to be bothered, I can understand that*
She rose up and saw Salem sleeping near Mustski, they seemed so calm and peaceful that she didn't find the courage to wake them up. Instead she silently walked towards her stuff and started paking up.
Ballcoth: Rise and Shine everyone. * He said lowdly * Siph: Had to be. Endy: Come on Siph! Make an effort will ya!!? Siph: ... Mustski: Do we even know were weare going?
Endy told them about the cristals, how the orb afects them and that they were heading towards a very big Cristal East of there.
Dementhia: It's kinda a shot in the dark. Mustski: It's our best and only shot at the moment. Siph: Since we don't have any other choice let's move on.
So they headed South - East fighting against Enraged Gorillas and Crazy Plants, Dinassaurs and Basilisks and even Stone creatures that although harder than the others went down pretty well since Shortbread and Ballcoth blasted them at distance while Salem and Mustki blocked his path.
After a While the team faced another terrible enemy, Tireness. They had been searching for hours now but with no results. Until Suddently Siph felt the need to look up, and there it was the beautiful Hawk she had seen earlyer, he cryed something that she and probabily only Mustski Understood, since they started running after him. Endy Ballcoth Dementhia and Shortbread look at each other and started running after them too, probabilly thinking what the hell were those Elves doing.
*Hawk Soud*
Siph: There it is...
The Hawk was standing on top of the largest cristal with an Imperial pose.
Siph: Thank you great ruler of the sky *As she tried to reach him, he flew away again* Mustski: This is it now what do we do? Endy: No worries Ballcoth knows exactly what to do! Shortbread: Yeah I'm sure he does. Ballcoth: Don't push it Gnome. Siph: Ohh this reminds me of the day he turned you into a sheep that was soo funny. *Laughs* Dementhia:The Gnome Turned you into a sheep Bally? *Laughs* Ballcoth: To hell with all of you *He said has he walked away* Siph: Haha "Bally". Mustski: The inscription here doensn't mention anything about the sadow orbs. Siph: maybe it's hidden!!?
Endy Removed a shadow Orb from his backpack and as he aproached the orb to the main Cristal Core it started to Glow like a shadowbolt.
Dementhia: But now if you walk away won't the effect go away? Mustski: We'll never know until he tries it. Endy: There is a spot here that fits this Orb Perfectly.
As Endy placed Orb inside Cristal it transmited two beams of Darkness across Un'Goro. These beams absoreb all the light in the area Leaving only two shiny cristals to be seen one nearby, to the South of were they were and one to the West. The singing of the birds had gone away the waterfalls could no longer be listened the very soul of Un'Goro had been scared. The cristal slowly absorbed the orb and the beams of Darkness gave place to a more confortable enviroment.
Siph: What the Hell just happend? Mustki: I'm not sure but...I've never...I dunno Endy: Somehow the cristal absorbed the Orb and used it's power to darken this place and show us the path to the next cristals. Shortbread: I went to all that trouble just to get that orb so taht I get here and it's destroied! Ballcoth: You Ingnorant Fool. It's obvious that the cristal used the Orb to Power up something. I'm sure we'll get it back or maybe a bigger version of it since it seems we have to do this three times. Mustki: This is somewhat wrong look at the cristal we just corrupted it. We destroied Nature. Siph: Let's end this quick and maybe it'll get back to Normal* She said as she tapped Msutski on the back*
They headed Up fo the seconf Cristal that wasn't very faar away. They placed the another Orb adn the same happend as before, and engulfing darkness took over Un'Goro, but this time two Glowing Green beams were linked and a third beam pointed West to teh third Cristal.
He didn't say anything but he felt that what they were about to do was going to mark his life like only one thing had done before.
And the team went on fighting eveything that stop them from reaching their Goal. Wether it was Animal, Monster or the Horde Wether it was made of Flesh, Stone or Hatred Wether it lurked the Lakes, the Land or the Sky Nothing was able to stop them at this point
Their Fate had been draw, and what was about to Happend was the consequece of their choices.
As they placed the Orb into the last cristal the sky rained Thunder and the Un'Goro was now completely Silent and Dark. Until they hear it. The Monstrous Roar of the Vile beast, their blood Froze when they saw him it's was a huge Creature somewhat like Devilssaur but a bit Bigger.
Ballcoth: You have to be fucking kidding me. Endy: For Bronzebeards arse that Thing's Huge Mustki: This isn't something Nature would have created. Dementhia: stop with the talking and do Something he's coming this way. Shortbread: I'll shoot i'm in the eye. Siph: DON'T do it. Shortbread: I'll shoot him in the Balls then. Ballcoth: You'r fucking mad. Run for that cave over there it's our only hope, he can't get in there.
The Monster rampaged trought the trees demolishing everything in his path until he got closer to the team. When he saw Mustski transforming into a cat he quicly tailswiped him into a tree knocking him uncosiousness, his attention turned to Siph who was Shooting and Running at the same time.
Shortbread: And he calls me a coward, haha I'll show him.
The monster was about to slam Siph with his tale but he quicly turned to Shortbread who had just sent a Firebolt into his Balls. The Beast was furious he bit and destroied the Huge rock were Shortbread was standing and swallowed everything. He then went directly to the caves entrance were Siph had just gotten in pulled by Endy.
Ballcoth: He won't get us here. Siph: This is all you'r Fault. Everything terrible that has happend to me Is because of you and those like you. You'r nothing but the worst worthless scum that walks the Earth Ballcoth: I don't give a dam of what you think or do. Endy:Guys, This isn't the time to be arguing. Dementhia: He's still outside I'm guessing he won't leave us. Siph: What do you know, you'r nothing but a backstabber murderer with no respect for anything or anyone. Endy: *STOP IT RIGHT NOW OR ELSE.* He screamed His lungs out*
Endy: Thank the Light. Now let's figure a way to get out of here. Dementhia: Already checked no way out unless that one with the sharpy theeth. Siph: ohh Mustski what have we done.... Ballcoth: are you a Hunter? I mean all you do is wine. Siph: That does it. One of us dies today Warlock Ballcoth: Dejá vu
They Stood up looking at each other for minutes, Until....
Ballcoth: I have a way to get us out of here. Siph: Liar Endy: Let the man speak Ballcoth: I can summon a Trully Powerfull creature that would surely Hold that Monsters attacks while we blast him at distance.... Siph: But? Dementhia: There is always a but. Ballcoth: In order to perform the ritual One of us has to.....has to Die!
They all looked surprised at him they couldn't beleive what they were hearing. Either everyone eventually died of Starvation or adventured out where a monster wouldn't even give them the chance to fight back before he ate them.
Ballcoth: And there's one more thing it's Random, Meaning that If I die the Creature will be summoned but will obey none. Siph: Does it get any better?
Endy was the first to break the silence he couldn't help thinking about Shortbread and Mustski somehow he felt they were still alive.
Endy: ... I'm in * Said the proud Dwarf Firmly* Dementhia: ...If ther isn't any other way! Count me in Siph: ...
Ballcoth: Sit in a Circular formation..yes just like that. Ok here it goes close your eyes, and try to speak what i'm speaking in demonic.
*Circles....Squares....Symbols*
* Power....hatred...commnad* And the ritual kept Going on and On Until the Doomguard was finnaly aware of our summonig, and he demanded a Soul for his brief Service.... It went round Robin a hand Floating round and round for what seem hours weeks months years ages of agonising indesion Until it stopped. The soul was taken and the creature was brought to this realm.

A body fell to the floor.
Ballcoth couldn't see who it was.
Something hit the ground outside the cage with an enormous sound, like a meteor that hit the ground. They all looked outside and a huge demon was standing there, just in front of the huge devilsaur. All hell broke loose.
Ballcoth ran outside to see his work. The devilsaur swang it's tail towards the big demon, that just grabbed it like it was a child who punced at it. The big doomguard draw it's big glowing sword and swang it back towards the devilsaur, and it sank into the leg. The devilsaur roared in agony and bited the doomguard in the arm. The doomguard screamed something in demonic.
Siph crawled out of the cave to see what was happening.
The devilsaur was thrown down on it's back, but bited back and removed the arm of the doomguard completely, but he just kept striking down on the devilsaur with his sword. The devilsaur threw the doomguard towards a large tree and came back on it's feets. It was clearly that the doomguard was heavily wounded but he wasn't finished yet. He ran towards the devilsaur with a swift move he removed one of the devilsaurs claws with his sword. The devilsaur was quick too. It bited the doomguards head off and the rest of the doomguards body went up in fire.
Ballcoth: I don't believe it... Siph: What the...
The devilsaur was breathing heavily, clearly deadly wounded, but it wasn't finished yet. He walked, slowly because of his wounds, towards Ballcoth and Siph who couldn't believe their eyes. That devilsaur was clearly nothing brought to the world by nature.
But all of a sudden the stomach exploded with a blast. The devilsaur fell and landed on the ground with a big bang!
Ballcoth: WOah?!
Siph was just standing still with her mouth wide open. Like she wanted to say something but couldn't find the words.
Ballcoth: What did just happen? Siph: It.. exploded? Ballcoth: Let's investigate!!
He ran towards the devilsaur without hesitation. WHen he came closer he saw shortbread crawling out of the big wound.
Ballcoth: Shortbread? What the hell?! Shortbread: I'm so done with this adventure. I've already used loads of gold on new clothing and hairdo's so far! Ballcoth: I'm... What the... how?!
Siph was standing right behind him now.
Shortbread: Do you warlocks know nothing?! Siph: Well, hunters don't either I suppose Shortbread: I created a mana shield around me right before I saw the big throat coming at me. I jumped into the throat of the beast so he swallowed me. Do you know how bumpy it's inside a devilsaur's stomach? Siph: I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry right now... Shortbread: Well, it's not quiet flowers inside there. I got bumped around and all the acid. Oh, what a smell... Ballcoth: You... was inside it? Shortbread: NO! I was just visiting my old grandma! What do you think?! Anyway, finally all the bumping around stopped so I could focus on making a big ass fire ball. And I think it was about time, because my mana shield was almost gone. And bingo! Here I am! Siph: You are a facinating little gnome! Shortbread: So you want to buy me a new hairdo and clothes?! Siph: For that show, absolutely.
She started to laugh.
Ballcoth looked at her, then back at Shortbread and couldn't keep the laughter back.
Endy (yelling): GUYS! GET OVER HERE!
They all turned around and ran back to Endy who looked sad at Ballcoth:
Endy: Sorry mate, I really tried to do everything I could. But the doomguard choose Dementhia.
Ballcoth could feel his heart skipped a beat. Siph looked at Endy then turned towards Ballcoth
Siph: I'm... really sorry, Ball! Ballcoth: Leave me alone!!
He ran into the cave.
Siph looked at Endy who just looked back at her without saying anything.
Endy: I tried everything. Siph: I'm sure you did!
She hugged the gnome and she could feel he tried to control himself without starting to cry.
Siph: Easy mate. Let me go see to Ballcoth. Go check on Mustski!
Siph went inside the cave while Endy pulled himself together and went to the tree Mustski was slammed against.
Siph: Are you okay, mate? Ballcoth: Why?! Everyone I got in this world is gone now! GONE!
He slammed his fist towards the stoney cave floor.
Siph: Everyone dies for a reason. She actually saved us! Ballcoth: GO AWAY YOU FILTHY ELF!! Siph: Dude, I only want to help... Ballcoth: BY ALL LIVING CREATURES YOU ARE THE LAST ONE I WANT TO HELP ME!
Ballcoth was crying now.
Siph: Well, I don't care a rats ass! I know how's like to lose someone you love! Ballcoth: I didn't just lose SOMEONE!! I'VE LOST EVERYON!! Siph: NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP!!
Ballcoth looked wondering at Siph. He had never heard her curse before!
Siph: YOU HAVEN'T LOST EVERYONE! YOU STILL GOT US!! YOU GOT ENDY WHO TRIED EVERYTHING HE COULD TO SAVE YOUR SISTER! YOU GOT MUSTSKI WHO WOULD SAVE YOUR NECK ANYTIME! YOU GOT SHORTBREAD WHO MIGHT BE A SILLY FASION FOCUSED LITTLE GNOME, BUT HE WOULD NEVER LET YOU DOWN IF YOU ASKED HIM FOR HIS HELP! IF YOU JUST OPENED YOUR FUCKING EYES AND LOOKED AROUND YOU WOULD SEE YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY FUCKING FRIENDS WHO WOULD STICK UP FOR YOU!
Ballcoth was speechless.
Siph: I'm really sorry about your sister! I really am!
Ballcoth: What... what about you? Siph: What about me? Ballcoth: You only mentioned the others.
Siph: I guess.. I...
She sighed
Siph: Sorry I've been on your back since day one. You are truly a good friend. After all you came back to us. Ballcoth: It's good enough for now. Will you help me burry my sister?!
Siph looked at him with wonder in her eyes.
Siph: Of course mate! It would be an honour!
They pulled Demethia's corpse back outside where Endy and Shortbread was standing next to Mustski helping him on his feets. Siph looked up upon the sky.
Siph: Look!
They all looked up and saw that all three crystals was shining and the ligst was all pointed back towards the camp.
Mustski: How odd. It's back where we came from. Endy: I don't understand it.
They all looked at it a few minutes. Then they carried Dementhia on top of the hill next to the crystal and burried her there. Endy said a prayer for her, and Ballcoth kneeled down upon her grave.
Ballcoth: Rest in peace, sister!
They all started to travel back towards the camp in silence.
They arrived around midnight and was all exausted.
Mustski: I've never felt so tired in my life! Endy: I know what you mean. Do you think the fragments has anything to do with it? Mustski: Maybe. But also think it's because of all the death and slaughtering we've experience lately. Ballcoth: And the sorrow.
Siph nodded.
Shortbread: I definately need a new outfit!
Everyone was too tired to comment on that.
Endy: I still can't figure out why the crystals guided us back towards this place. Mustski: It's a mystery to me too. In Uldaman it was so clear that the fragment would be here, but the closer we got the more cloudy our vision became! Siph: I can't think right now. I'm just so excausted. Mustski: You are right. We need to sleep and fill our stomaches. Let's rest and regain strength.
And they all went silent to sleep.
Ballcoth woke up. Nightmare again. Siph about to kill herself.
Ballcoth: Of course!
He looked around. The others was sleeping except Siph. She was gone.
Ballcoth: Shit! WAKE UP GUYS!!
He started to run towards the cave. When he came inside all the crystals was shining madly at him. He ran through the cave. He stopped when he saw Siph.
She looked up on him.
Siph: I can't take this anymore. I simply can't.
Ballcoth saw she had a dagger in her hands, and something in the other he couldn't see! With his sharp reflexes he threw a small shadow bolt at the dagger while she started to swing it towards herself.
He hit it and it flew through the air.
Siph: NOOOOOO!!
He ran to her and jumped onto her and hold her down!
Ballcoth: STOP IT! Siph: NOOO! LET MET FINISH THIS! WHAT DO YOU CARE?! Ballcoth: SHUT UP! AFTER THAT LITTLE SPEECH YOU GAVE ME EARLIER TODAY, YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!
Siph tried to talk but nothing but some weird sounds came out between the crying.
The others arrived at the cave and Endy quickly jumped down beneath Siph and layed his hands on her forehead and said a silent prayer.
Mustski quickly helped Ballcoth with holding her down.
Siph: IT'S UNFAIR! LEAVE ME!!
Mustski said a quick formular and she fell asleep in their arms.
Shortbread: She is going mad! Mustski: The orb is getting to her. We got less time that I hoped! We need to move quick. Maybe already tonight! Endy, what can you do?! Endy: I'm really using my most powerful protection spells, but they don't seem to have the big effect anymore. Ballcoth: What's that in her hand?
Mustski looked at her hand and hold it up so they all could see it.
Mustski: It's another fragment. Ballcoth: But how?
Mustski didn't answer but looked around.
Shortbread: Has it been right under our nose all the time? Endy: But how? J.D. Collie: Because of the crystals!
They all jumped around and looked at Collie who had sneaked after them.
Mustski: What?! J.D. Collie: Some of these crystals have some kind of magic reduction effect or something. Mustski: So you are saying that the crystals can protect or even shield magic effects? J.D. Collie: I'm not 100 % sure, but I think so
Mustski looked around, thinking.
Mustski: It would make perfectly sense. That's why we couldn't find the excat location of the fragment. Shortbread! Go get a big bag, and better do it quick!
Shortbread ran out and came back quickly after with a bag.
Mustski: Do you know what color crystals that does that? J.D. Collie: I think it's the green ones. This part of the cave contains mostly green crystals.
Mustski gathered as many crystals as possible and threw them into the bag, while the others just looked at him.
Mustski: Endy, go get you bag and get the other fragments for me!
Endy ran off. Mustski quickly threw the fragent into the bag, he search Siph's outfit and found the core. He threw that into the bag too. Endy came back with the other fragments.
Mustski: Throw them into the bag!
While Endy put them into the bag, Mustski continued gathering green crystals. He threw them on top of the fragments and closed the bag.
Mustski: Shortbread. We need a portal to Ironforge! You others, go get our gear, we need to move!
They all got moving to get their gear. Shortbread made the portal and they all walked through it. Mustski carrying Siph.
Mustski: Jump in there, boy!
He was looking at Salem who looked suspecious on the portal, but finally jumped through. Mustski went inside, as the last one.

Siph woke up. She was desorientated. Where was she?
She pulled herself up and looked around. She was in a little room with a bed and some random furniture, carved out of wood like only the dwarves could make it. Mustski was sitting in a chair reading in a book with Salem lying at his feets. Mustski looked up.
Mustski: Finally, you are awake! Siph: Where am I? Mustski: In good old Ironforge! Siph: What happend? Mustski: The orb almost made you kill yourself. Thanks to Ballcoths quick reaction you didn't succeed! Siph: Really? Mustski: Yeah! You owe him your life! Siph: Where's the orb? Mustski: Far away from here, but it's safe! Siph: Far away? Mustski: Yeah, it's in Stormwind now. Shortbread and Endy took off to learn more about the next location. Well, we couldn't actually figure out where we had to search next, but Endy mentioned that the High Priest of Stormwind knew something about the orb, so maybe he can give us some answers. Oh, and they went to pick up the first piece that we left by your good friend. Siph: Where is Ballcoth? Mustski: He is out buying supplies for our last and most dangerous journey. We need to get you back on your feets and to get ready. Think the others should be back tonight, before sunset. Siph: I need to get out of this bed!
She tried to get up, but she felt dazed and couldn't really move out of the bed, so she fell back into the bed.
Mustski: Easy now. I had to use a really powerful sleeping spell on you. I had to assure me that you wouldn't wake up and start to hurt yourself. Wait here and I'll bring you some herb tea! Siph: I'll be right here!
Mustski left the room to get the tea and came back a few minutes later with a delicious smelling tea. Mustski helped Siph to drink some tea and she started to feel her energy coming back to her.
Siph: I can still sense the orb! Mustski: Yeah, it got a good grip on you. Think it must be because of the core and the fact that you had to kill your old boyfriend. It's a very hard mind job to cope with, and it must've decreased your psyche. Making you more woundable to the orb's powers. Siph: It still aches to think about. Mustski: I bet it does. It's a burden no one should ever bear. Siph: I really miss him! Mustski: Just remember he will always be with you, in your heart! The one you killed wasn't Dunadain, his mind was consumed by the orb. And if we don't act quick, it will do the same with you! Siph: I know. It's so weird. I know all that stuff, but I just can't fight it. Mustski: You have to be strong in your belief! You did the right thing. That orb is very evil! Maybe the evilest thing in this world! Luckily we got Endy. Who might be the most pure person who walks this earth. He is protecting you more than you can imagine! Siph: I know he is. I can feel his presence as much as I can feel the orb. Mustski: His protective spells are very strong! Never underestimate his powers. He might doubt them himself, but you should never do! Siph: I won't!
Ballcoth enters the room, he is breathing heavily like he had to run very fast!
Ballcoth: Mustski! You won't believe this! Mustski: What? Ballcoth: You need to follow me! I just spoke to the dwarf kings helpers. He wants to speak to you! Mustski: To me? What could he possibly want from me? Ballcoth: He said it was about very pressing matters! Mustski: Oh? I'll be there in a few minutes. Will you stay here with Siph until she regains her strength? Ballcoth: Sure! I got all the things we need for our journey. Hurry, druid! I'm curious as hell to hear what he wants from us! Mustski: Me too, Bally! Me too!
A gnome and a dwarf stands outside the shut doors of the Blue Recluse. They are trying to open the door to the famous inn, but it's closed.
Shortbread: That's weird. How come the inn is closed at the most busy time on the day? Endy: Yeah, something doesn't feel right Voice: I'm afraid the inn is closed for now.
They both turned around to see who said that. A guard was standing behind them.
Endy: How's that, good guard? Guard: Call me Thomas! Well, a couple of weeks ago the bartender went crazy. No one knows what happend, but he killed everyone in the inn. It was a horrible day. Endy: Killed everyone? But he was such a nice guy, he would never harm anyone?! Thomas: Aye, excatly what we thought. But that day everything was different! He kept yelling something about dark shadows. That he couldn't take all those foreingers that couldn't behave. Well, basicly he was acting very weird. Endy: What happend to him? Thomas: He got killed!
Shortbread and Endy was shocked by that information. They were sad that another friend was gone, but also that the peaceful bartender could go crazy. And now they were scared about what had happend to the orb fragment.
Endy: Oh no. I'm sorry to hear. Did you find any clues why he went crazy? Thomas: Not really. The High Priest was down here too to say a prayer for the dead ones, may they rest in peace, but he left pretty quickly again. Guess he couldn't bear all the evil in this house. Endy: I got a request my good man, and I hope you can help us. Thomas: I'll help out if I can. Endy: The bartender was a good friend of ours, and he had some items of ours in storage. Is it possible to go inside the inn and take a look? We really need our stuff back. Thomas: Well, no one is allowed to go inside until we found out what actually happend. Orders from the high Priest! Endy: How come the high priest ordered that? Isn't that usually the king that does things like that? Thomas: I have no good answer to that. Endy: Oh, well, we need to speak to him aswell. Thank you, Thomas. You have been to great help. Thomas: It's my job, sir! Have a nice day.
Shortbread and Endy left the inn and went in the direction of the cathedral.
Dwarf king: So you are the great Mustski?! Mustski: I am indeed - if I'm great I can't tell, I simply does what life brings me! Dwarf King: Ah, modest too. I like that! Mustski: If I may ask, my lord, how come you know my name? Dwarf King: Stories are spreading fast! It leaves out details and bits of informations that might be crucial to see the whole picture, but the recent scourge attacks and your name popping up all the time, makes me very curious! Mustski: Tell me what you know, my lord, be so kind. Dwarf King: I know from my spies that you and your group of adventures have travelled the world thin to find something of great importance. I know you have faced great evil. Adventures all around the world have seen you and your lot. And you haven't actually done much to cover your tracks! And by the places you have visited I figured out that it not always have been farries you have met. Mustski: You are a wise man, my lord! Dwarf King (laughs): haha, you amuses me, good elf! Mustski (smiling): My plessure! Dwarf King: Well, what I don't know though, is what you are looking for. And if you don't want to share that information with me, it's fine by me. But one thing I do know is this: The scourge have attacked all the cities you have visited. Luckily not many of our allies has been killed yet, but a such massive attack on all the positions you guys have been tells me one thing! Do you know? Mustski: That whatever we are after, they want it too! Dwarf King: Aye, my wise friend! And that tells me that you are looking for something very powerful! Mustski: Yeah, very powerful and too dangerous for any of us to use! Dwarf King: If The Explorers League is right, I would say you are looking for the Shadow Orb!
Mustski was stunned to hear the name of the orb from the dwarf king. If he could sit here in ironforge and figure all that out, what about the other side then? Had Thrall or any of the other horde leaders send assassins to kill them and steal the orb? And what about the scourge?
Dwarf King: Yes, now you realize it! I can see it on your face! You are all in danger. More than you would've imagined. But fear not, druid! When I heard you where back in Ironforge I doubled the guards. No one will enter Ironforge to harm you. We already caught two rogues who tried to enter unseen. You are safe here! Mustski: I thank you alot, my lord, but what do you want from us? I'm not a stupid elf. You want something in return! Dwarf King (laughs): Haha, you are right! But don't worry. I know enough about the orb to know even I can't resist it powers! I don't want the orb! The dwarves can succeed without such powers! Mustski: What can you then want? Dwarf King: My daughter! Mustski: Your daughter? Dwarf King: My daughter was captured by the corupted dark iron king! When and if you succeed I want you to venture to Blackrock Mountain and get her back. She means more to me than a silly little orb! Mustski: So in exchange for security you want us to get your daughter back?! Dwarf King: It's as simple as that! Mustski: It will be very dangerous to mess with the dark iron king, but we'll do it. As soon as we have completed our quest! If we even can. You got my druid word on that! Dwarf King: I'm pleased to hear, good druid! Very pleased! Mustski: That's a deal, my lord. But now I really must go. I need to get back to my friends! Dwarf King: I won't waste more of your pressious time! May your gods look after you! Mustski: And may yours look after you, my lord!
Mustski left the king with these new informations. He might have brought Shortbread and Endy in grave danger by letting them go to Stormwind on their own. His worried face was now even more worried.
Shortbread and Endy entered the big cathedral. They stood inside the mighty halls looking around. It was empty. Their footsteps echoed when they moved.
Endy: How weird. This place normally is filled with life. Today it's completely empty! Shortbread: I know this is a peaceful place, but today it feels scary! Endy: Yeah, I can see what you mean. Can you feel it too by the way? Shortbread: Yeah, the orb is near! It's trying to speak to me Endy: Aye, I can feel it. Over there! There are some stairs down to the catacombs!
They slowly went down the stairs. If the cathedral felt scary, the stairs down to the catacombs was horrible! But they continued down silently.
Endy (whispering): Sshh.. someone is down here!
They both stopped and listened.
Voice: ...and as you know a great threat is upon us. And I've figured out what it is. That's why I found you guys. You need to help me out!
Endy (whispering): I've heard that voice before. Let's move further down so we can see who it is.
Shortbread nodded and move further down the stairs until they came to a room. They stayed close to the walls to stay in the shadows. In the other end of the room a man was standing with his back to them. He was talking to five young adventures.
Man: What I tell you now is very secret, and you can't tell anyone about it. And the quest I'll send you out on now will be very dangerous, and all of you might not return.
To Shortbreads big surprise Endy quickly stepped forward!
Endy: High priest! What are you doing down here?
The man quickly turned around and the five adventures behind him draw their weapons. But the high priests face lightend up when he saw Endy.
High Priest: Endy?! Where have you been?! Endy: Sorry, father, it's a long story, and we don't have time. High Priest: You never came back. I thought the orb got you! Endy: I'm very much alive! And I didn't think our journey would be so long. God, I can't even remember when I was here the last time. High Priest: It's nearly a year since you came to me with the fragment. Endy: Really? Oh my, the time has passed fast. Shortbread: Ehm.. Hi! Endy: Oh, sorry, my manners. This is Shortbread, one of my companions on my quest! High Priest: Nice to meet you, Shortbread. Shortbread: My pleassure too, father! One of the adventures: Can we please move on, sir? You told us we didn't have much time! High Priest: Oh, sorry, let's see what Endy has to tell. I think he has information we can use! Endy: Who are these guys? High Priest: When you didn't came back I thought you were killed. I went to the cave and the fragment was gone. So I thought it had fallen in the wrong hands, until it showed up in the hands of our bartender in the Blue Recluse. May he rest in peace. So I quickly gathered a bunch of trusted and highly skilled adventures to go on the mission to collect the orb. It MUST be destroyed! Endy: I know, father, I know. Can I talk to you in privacy? High Priest: Ehrm... sure.
They went a bit up the stairs together.
Endy (whispering): We got 6 pieces of the orb, father. 7 with the one you got! High Priest: Really? Endy (whispering): Ssshhh... mind your voice! We just need to find the last 2 pieces now, but the fragments has clouded our minds. We can't figure out where we should look. We hoped you could help us! High Priest (whispering): You need help then! The next piece is in the city of Stratholme! That's a very dangerous place to be. My adventures can help you! Endy (whispering): NO! In this matter no one can be trusted! The 5 of us alone has to do it! We can trust each other, and if I should die, I rather want it to be together with my friends than with those unknown adventures. How old are they?! They look so young! High Priest (whispering): They were the best I could find. I just needed to do something! Endy (whispering): Give me the 7th piece and we'll be off again. Tell those adventures whatever you want to. But send them far away from us! High Priest (whispering): You've grown so much wiser the last year! You'll be a great priest some day! May our god look after you, my son! I'll say a prayer for you! Endy (whispering): Thank you, father!
Endy got the 7th piece from the high priest.
High Priest: Good luck! Endy (yelling): Shorty! We are out of here!
The priest headed back to the adventures while Shortbread and Endy silently left the cathedral. When they were outside in the sunshine shortbread broke the silence.
Shortbread: I suppose you got it! Endy: Aye, and I know where we're headed! Shortbread: On the look on your face it doesn't seem like an especielly flowery place. Endy: Far from, mate... Stratholme! Shortbread: Oh boy...
But all of a sudden Shortbread fell. Endy was surprised but couldn't do anything. Four undead rogues appeared around him.
Undead rogue: Give me the orb!
Endy was stunned. How the hell could he understand that undead rogue? He shook his head!
Endy: Over my dead body! Undead rogue 2: I don't speak common, but I think that gesture means he won't surrender easily. Chop him down, guys!
Endy was still surprised about him being able to understand them. But he quickly snapped out of it and shielded himself with a protective shield. And it was about time. A dagger hit the shield right behind him. Endy smited one of them so the rogue flew through the air and ended in the canal with a splash. Endy started to say a big prayer and the sky opened and a holy thunderlike energy stroke another rogue who fell to the ground. But the shield worn off and a blade hit him in the shoulder. Endy fell down on his knees in agony. Was this really how it would end? Endy closed his eyes. All of a sudden he heard a sharp sound of something flying through the air right above his head. He heard a body fall to the ground. He heard yelling. He opened his eyes and saw the last rogue throwing something into the ground. A cloud appeared and the rogue was gone.
Thomas (yelling): ...And stay away you filthy undeads!
He and three other guards was running towards him. The sharp sound he heard was an arrow. One of the guards had an crossbow and had shot one of the rogues.
Thomas: I came here as quick as I could as soon as I recieved the message. Endy: What message? Thomas: A messenger from Ironforge. You are apparently a very important visitor. Quick! We need to move to the dwarven tram. A train is waiting for you there!
Endy looked at Shortbread, said a prayer and the gnome woke up.
Shortbread: Aw, my head. Something hit me. I bet my hair is messed up! Endy: It was a rogue. I'll tell you later, we need to move now, quick!
They got escorted to the tram, and was now on their way back to Ironforge. Back to the others.
